IMPORTANT. PLEASE READ.
I will NEVER contact you unless I know you personally and you have personally given me your contact details. If you ever receive a message saying I have contacted you from this channel, that will be an impersonation, a phishing scam.
I will NEVER charge you for anything, or offer to sell you anything, or offer any paid service (eg advice).
As some people on TH-cam have been impersonated by fraudsters seeking to take advantage of others, you should be on your guard. If you want to get in touch with me you can do so via a comment left on my blog, Kindred of the Quiet Way.
May your pathways on the internet stay peaceful and safe.

Our thinkabout for the once a month Sunday evening gathering of the Campfire Church on Facebook, for September 2023. On the subject "Everything is going to be okay." I apologise for the loud and somewhat histrionic intrusion of our cat near the end of the video. He'd come in to tell me that all was not well, Hebe and Alice had not come home!! That was because they were in London to see "Back to...

Thank you!
I'm not sure how else to contact you with a question! What name does Allen ("wounds of God") take when he takes his vows? I must have missed something!
😊 Allen became Brother James, their robe-maker. He also sometimes helps in the scriptorium, especially with binding books and making the silver clasps and chased silver corners. Waving to you. This is a good place to find me, or on Facebook, or at my blog Kindred of the Quiet Way. Blessed be.
What a joy you are! Thank you for this gentle and tender reading, and thank you for all the goodness, truth and beauty you slip into the lives of those who read your books.
Where can I buy this book? I haven’t been able to find it. 😢
Hiya. Yes, it's long been out of print, if you're after a paperback. It's still available on Amazon as a Kindle book. I don't know what part of the world you live, but there's probably a few second-hand copies knocking about on your area Amazon (there's a few for sale still on UK Amazon), or maybe Abe Books or eBay. Waving to you! Glad you're enjoying the story. x
@@penelopewilcock3847 thank you so much. I was not able to find it on my Amazon. I am in the United States in Kansas City, Missouri. I will try some of the Thrift bookstore type places. I am so enjoying your readings of this book. The Hawk and the Dove series is probably my favorite of all the books I’ve read. I get lost in the story. I am reading it again for what is probably my seventh time. (I’m 65 yo) My oldest daughter (age 31) has fallen in love with it too and has read it numerous times. She used to borrow my copy, but now she has her own. 😍
Love these readings prayers wonderfully deepening into the heart
Thank you for sharing so much so freely... O may we all His glory see... Your singing is not rubbish... He inhabits our praise you know!
I love your prayers and inquiries at the end of each part...
Thank you for reading to us.
I love th way you write and read... Your voice is so soothing. I recently received a copy of The wilderness Within You in the post from a friend in Germany. What a wonderful present... You make Jesus so real. Thank you.
Making me cry
Thanks mam
The “thumbs up” is a rather crude icon that I hope in some way expresses my thanks. Much appreciating the ministry of the readings from your book this Advent. Blessings. DD
Thank you. May you be blessed.
You need to apply for a job as a narrator for nature documentaries, extremely soothing voice to listen to!
Again, I thank you for your stunning clarity of vision. I agree wholeheartedly.. God bless you.
Amen
Thank you for this reflection. I have taken it to heart. Thank you for your precious books , each one a treasure. God bless you.
I am grateful that today you endured 5 attempts at reading this portion of the story, and I continue to be comforted by each ending prayer. I also find myself connecting to Esmy, as I also proceed in ministry after the surprised ending of my 30 year marriage. I await with baited breath the continuation of the story,
"We have no guarantees in the circumstances of our lives, but the love of God is ours whatever they are, for living or for dying. The peace of Christ, the love of God, is not to protect you against the circumstances of life, but to hold you steady and wrap you round, whatever your circumstances may be. So go well and may you be blessed."
Gentleness permeates your voice, your manner, your presence. Your prayer was especially meaningful to me this evening, and so deeply needed, but I was brought to tears. I have endured two years of unexpected grief and loss, and I am in a season of recovery. This story and your reading of it is like a balm for my soul. Thank you.
“In the chronos of your days, may you find the kairos. May you find your way to the hidden presence of Christ there at the heart of your life.”
I’m in the state of Maine, USA. And it is 8 a.m. I own your Hawk and the Dove series and have found it to be rich and beautiful. The blessings you speak at the end of your readings are lovely and seem heartfelt. Thank you.
Thank you,
Beautiful, and doubly special to hear your voice. Peace be with you, Bean
I have to snatch the kairos of teaching alphebatization so my Roma couple can read the Bible in their Romanian. Those whom Jesus finally called to the feast. Thousand Blessings, and Amen, pronounced as Jesus did in Aramaic by my Roma, 'Amin'.
Beautiful... thank you! Peace to you....from Akron, Ohio
So beautiful...
This has to be my most favorite Christmas Carol, powerful stuff.
A cheery number, loved by young and old a like. Merry Christmas.
Lovely, I really enjoy the traditional hymns, they warm heart and soul.
This made me smile, very cheering indeed. Good job ladies.
perfect!
