Visiting the beautiful California coast in my new Aliner Ranger 10.
Great video, but the music is so annoying and distracting and added zero value.
Thanks for the great video comment. I’ll keep your music comment under submission the next time I want to annoy and distract someone, and offer them zero value 😆
had one for many years. towed behind our ricked harley Davidson. went to east to dc, south as far as mississippi gulf, west to california coast and around to mt rushmore. loved it. no longer able to ride so we sold both aliner and bike but STILL miss all.
Wow. Amazing memories. Thank you for sharing.
I live and work out of my Scout 10 for the last 6 months. Small but mighty!
Thank you for sharing @Minja1111. I have wondered if I can live out of my Ranger 10 for an extended period. Perhaps one person can do it, but adding another body in such tight quarters might make me want to upgrade to a bigger rig. Good luck, be well, and be safe!
Nice video (except the music). I'm thinking of getting the Ranger 10.
I've had a few comments about the music not being of favor. Perhaps not "campy" enough? I highly recommend the Ranger 10. I'm making a video about what I like and don't like about my Aliner (mostly like). Good luck in your search.
They tend to leak quite bit
Only if it’s raining 🌧️😅
I am 4 foot 9 so these type of campers will be perfect for me. 😁
Yes, being shorter than 6 feet has its advantages in the RV world, as well as traveling coach on airlines 😊
There were some suggestions for a Trail Manor. While the Trail Manor is a well-designed unit, it would have been too much weight for his Passport. The cost would also have been higher. Lastly, does Trail Manor make units as short as his Aliner? Bottom line: Weight, cost, and size.
Paranoid much? It’s IN your garage and you have a wheel lock on it AND the tongue padlocked?
Hahaha. All the locks are mainly when the Aliner is parked outside or at a campsite. I lock everything up in the garage because I don’t want the items scattered about (but yeah, I am paranoid 😂).
Love the video! Actually, I love the thought process. For some reason I'm enamored with the teardrop shape, but you are convincing me. Blessings.
No one considers a A Liner an RV better to stay at home
Maybe true, but my videos would be so boring if I made videos of my home life 🥱. Thanks to my Aliner, I can now camp all year round! It sure beats tent camping 😉
Do you shit on the campsite in an emergency or in your pants?
This is great.
Thank you 😊
Congratulations! We bought a 2023 Scout. A little bigger than the ranger 10, but perfect for 2 hoomans and 2 doggos. Happy Camping!
Congratulations! Happy camping to you, as well 😊
What car do you use to tow it?
A 2019 Honda Passport, which has a towing capacity of 3,500 lbs.
@@HaveMapWillTravel90606 Very nice.
I appreciate your reply. I was probably unfair with the music comment, wasn’t bad, just a little loud for me. Secondly, I watched it all and enjoyed your content, just so you know. Keep up the good work. I’m looking forward to your future content.
Awful intro music was too much. Subscribed and immediately unsubscribed. Content was so promising and enjoyable.
I wish you luck in finding content with promise and enjoyment 😊
Ace hardware????
Ace Hardware in Fullerton, to be exact - 😆
@8:35 --- Oh, no no no, my friend. Just adding salsa to ground meat does NOT equal tacos. Salsa is essentially just tomatoes, onions, and peppers. There's a lot more that goes into proper taco seasonings. You're really missing out! At the BARE minimum, you'll want to add some garlic, chili powder, and comino (cumin), and depending on your taste, something to give it some heat. If you want to keep it simple and easy, get a package of taco seasoning from the store, but you certainly don't want to just dump a jar of salsa into the meat. So bland.
Hahaha. All very true! My videos focus on travel and easy cooking ideas 😂. I’ll let the expert chefs provide videos on tasty foods.
Great how to for prepping for a trip. You’ve got a nice knack for videos. keep ‘em coming!
Thank you 🙏
Have Map, Incredible vacation. I love the parks in Ca.!!! Your "prep time" background music had me cracking up! Thank you for the tips and for brining us along with you. Regards from Pa.
Wow, all the way from PA! Thank you.
Visalia? did ya stop a Apple Annie’s for s slice of pie? a road trip staple 😉 ps. you and bro looked like you had a great time. all smiles 🙂
My brother has stopped there in Tulare, but I haven’t. I’ll remember for next time. And yea, we had an enjoyable time 😊
Do you use a safety pin on the hitch ball clasp. That hole in it is meant for a safety pin or a bolt with nut to slide in it. So clasp doesn't pop up
I use a hitch lock. Yes, it's very important to use a hitch pin to keep the clasp from opening up.
So adorable ❤❤❤
Thank you 💞
Great video. We owned a 2020 Classic and ran an Aliner forum for a few years. Morro Bay is one of our favorite spots. Keep up the videos!
Thank you 🙏
Great video! Narration with on-screen text is excellent and greatly appreciated. I particularly like that you show your route on a map as well as say the route you took. The best part was that you were able to include your brother!
Thank you so much 😊

Nice -- thx!
Thank you 🙏
Nice video I have family scout 15 foot Floorplan with two hard dormers no bells and whistle just ac sink and fridge thinking of taking out fridge and getting a cooler like you have.love the different pictures .thanks again
Thank you 🙏
Great video thank you! I just love watching the Aliner, I hope to have one some day :o)
Thank you 🙏
Excellent video! I love the attention to detail and organization. Happy travels!
Thank you so much!
You have a good routine for getting ready . Something I have done to my Scout light , is remove the chrome center hubs . Inside you will find greaseable wheel bearings . You just pop out the rubber plug and grease until some is coming out . I have left mine off this time so its easer to do this maintains. Also its good to jack the wheel off the ground and give it a shake top to bottom . Even though my trailer is only a year old I found that one of the wheel bearings needed a little tightening . Thanks PS just did a 5,500 kilometer trip .The Scout pulled great with a ford Maverick
I LOVE this so much!!!!
Thank you! Please check out my other videos and subscribe 😀
Very useful video.
Thank you.
I had a terrible experience with this type of trailer, roof leaked and buckled, horrible
Yup, it happens. I’ll update you of my experiences.
Thanks, very informative and every question was one I have, and every answer informative.
Thank you 😊
This video so fun, thank you! I am picking up my Aliner Ranger 12 tomorrow, 2016 one owner very well taken care of. Am very excited and looking forward to lots of adventures! I did bunches of research too. When this Aliner turned up on my town's craigslist, in great shape and 3 minutes from my own house, I jumped.
Congratulations! Let me know how much you enjoy your new Aliner 😊
Did you look in to trail manor as well? Seems like it would have worked
No, I didn’t look at Trail Manor. Do they make a travel trailer that fits in a normal garage?
@@HaveMapWillTravel90606 yes. It’s a really unique design and one of a kind. It folds and expands. You should look it up.
Thanks for the video! How does this fair when you have loud neighbors? One of the reasons we want a camper is because we always find ourselves near people playing music late/being loud at their campfire. I’m curious how well this isolates you from that noise/rainfall noise.
Good question! I’ve had my share of loud camping neighbors while tent camping, especially after quiet hours. This indeed can put a damper on a relaxing camp outing. To be honest, I haven’t encountered loud neighbors since I began camping in my Aliner (is it because I’m now camping with fellow RVers who are older and quieter after 10:00 pm?). I shall research this and provide a video in the future 😊
When my wife got sick, I started looking for downsized options for just me to travel. Taking gear from our camper, I took a week long trip in our large 3rd row SUV to hike Acadia National Park. It got GREAT mpg, had everything I needed and I was SOLD that this is the way for a single person to travel! My only issue was on day 4, it started to rain, stuck in the back of an SUV all day was not great and really turned me off to SUV camping. I wonder if I should bring a tent for rainy days and that would make things better?
Good review. Nice camper.
Did u compare with Rockwood premier?
I didn't consider Rockwood A-Frames, as I could only find used models. Many of them were too long to fit in my garage.
@HaveMapWillTravel90606 yes...some have a storage compartment in front...a frame are so practical
you should move to my town you can park a used 50 foot metro bus in between houses or on your front lawn. Just not on the street
Do you mind telling me the cabinet door opening measurement where you store your toilet? …so I can see what brand/sizes of toilets would fit through the door. I’m trying to decide between the Scout Lite and Ranger 10… any advice? Thanks for taking time to make videos. You do a good job!
Both the Ranger 10 and Scout Lite have the same footprint. The opening of where I store the toilet is 13 3/4" in height and 14" inches wide. It's plenty deep for a porta potty. The Ranger 10 won out because it offered a furnace, built-in stove, outdoor shower, 11 gallon drinking water tank, and a 6 gallon water heater. I like the creature comforts provided by the Ranger 10.
@@HaveMapWillTravel90606 Thanks. I appreciate you getting back to me.
You obviously did not watch my video on "Don't Buy an Aliner..... Before watching this" on why not to buy an Aliner!! But here you are!! Any Chance your a member of the Aliner Owners Club!! Our North American Rally is in a week in NC. I'd love to meet you!
What an honor to hear from you! I did watch your video, and I was still encouraged to buy one of my own. I am not a member of Aliner Owners Club, but I love to part of any organization that would have me as a member 😄. Where in NC?
Either grilled chicken strips or shrimp would go nicely.
I think the 2 things of the Aliner is portability. Can go in garage, no wind resistance pulling it and of course the cost. I'm going back and forth between the Aliner and the Scamp 13ft.
THANK YOU for this vid; I’m getting (in my dreams); this was a GREAT explanation/ review of the A-liner, which seems like it “checks all the boxes”…for ME…! 👍🏻👍🏻‼️
You’re very welcome.
Im sure it tasted as good as it looked!
It’s was delicious! Thanks to the creamy Caesar dressing 😁
I recently purchased an Aliner Scout Lite. It's perfect for our needs because we don't spend any time in the camper except to sleep. We do everything outside, and have a quick popup gazebo in case of rain. It stayed dry in two overnight thunderstorms on our first trip. Camping is all about being outdoors and enjoying the experience. I would recommend this camper to anyone. Great video!
Thank you. Like you, I spend most of my time outdoors when camping. The Aliner is perfect for anyone looking for a step above tent camping. Enjoy your travels. Also, thank you for your military service. I served in the United States Air Force during the early 1980s.
As they say, you don't live in it, you live out of it.
Hello- Thanks for your informative videos. I am 6'1" and wondering about the bed length. Do you have any discomfort due to lack of bunk length? Thanks!
The length of both beds are 74 inches, and it's plenty of room for me. The width for the front bunk is 30 inches, and 40 inches for the rear bed. Also, I find the cushions firm and comfortable for sleeping.
