I have done the port to port this much more expensive is it worth? It looks brilliant.
It is a fantastic trip and we were very lucky with the weather, i think it is good value because nothing would get me on one of the big cruise ships and these ships carry a small number of passengers, i think you would enjoy it.

Hi, No we had almost no wind except for 6 hours at night on the way back. The crew said they had not seen it so calm before and it was very warm. It was a fantastic trip and i wouldn't mind doing it again. Paul

Just one of those times when the sea will explain to you exactly why you should not take it lightly, It can catch you out no matter how careful you plan to be. Good to hear that everyone enjoyed to voyage and all got home safely.
James, absolutely right but at least we all got through it ok and it was an interesting end to a holiday if nothing else. Hurtigruten are on the ball, prior to departure on day 1 we had to attend a compulsory demonstration on how to put the survival suits and lifejackets on before the ship could sail;.
