Nice boat, except Edison the man was a real piece of...at least give it a respectable name like tesla. edison=corporate money grubbing career and idea stealing, elephant and dog electrocuting, walking all over the litte guy and selling out the best interests of his country and fellow man serious piece of... Relearn your history with the truth this time he's no hero and deserves nothing in his name.
Thumbs up if you thought the skier was gonna get hit by a boat at dead stop.

Were watching the future
What is not mentioned here is how long the Edison can run at that speed, or any speed. Lots of electric boats around, but few autonomous ones, none actually. After a short run, they head for the socket for at least as long, usually longer. Solar boats, on the other hand, can be autonomous, charging a small battery bank with solar panels.
to bad you don't show power source..it still looks wonderfull to move all that weight

144v nominal, twin 500amp controllers. AGM batteries. we pull 300 amps each side when we punch it from dead stop
the twin 9" DC motors are inside the boat. you cannot view them from the outside. this boat has twin propellors mounted in board.
