It looks better painted in 1975 Z1B colours and I prefer the 4 into4 over the 1977 Z1000 spec 4 into 2.

I had one of these in 1977 .it was my ultimate bike back in the day and i owned one .used it for 3 years then traded it for a ke 125 .wish id kept the duster .would love to get my hands on one now bet it wouldnt cost me a hundred pouds like my last one did

I'm 64 years old now. I owned plenty of Jap bikes, this one was one of the better ones for sure. The original Z650 was another good Kwak back a-long. The KH 750 was, 'too much too young'.

Gut aus sehen ist nicht alles, die läuft im Standgas nicht sauber, Vergaser synchronisieren und schauen ob die Krümmer alle dicht sind. So wie die Schalldämpfer sitzen kann ich es mir nicht vorstellen. Gruß Mike

I owned a z1000a for over 20yrs it was mo dified , gunmetal grey , lowered , clipons , 4into 1 , gsx box tube swing arm big rear tyre it was awesome , now im building a toecutters black z1000a madmax bike

Z1000a with a 75 z1b paint scheme and has 900 exhaust , still looks awesome

In 1979 i had a Z250 , same colour with fairing ,a mini me Z1000.

I’ve owned 100’s of bikes over my lifetime….The Z1000 was the only bike I wanted but never got. Pity, still looks stunning.

That sound is incredible. I get Mad Max vibes every time I hear them. The new one is a complete monstrosity of a machine.
