Thank you❤
Haha dope
THANK YOU! very helpful
Was this the Palmer fair???
Music?
This is not an unusual way to launch in many areas. In the UK some of their emergency response lifeboats are launched this way. But in the UK the lifeboat tractors are either purpose built or heavily modified for use in the surf.
Just fuckin back it in like a normal person. So dumb
Filmed on literally the calmest day known to man kind at anchor point
Same in Baja
It's more Florida style to me.
A rather expensive launching vehicle I’d say
From the thumbnail, I thought tit was just toys haha
Lmao! The view from the thumbnail makes it look like you guys are launching a toy boat with a tonka truck.
Gotta be down Kenai Peninsula.
It's kinda of an every country in the world thing. Great video though.
Is that Deep Creek, AK?
Yes. Deep Creek. #bhboatlaunch 👍
Does the tide have to be going out?
May rust but will still run like a deere
They probably rinse all that salt off every day.
I went to that beach yesterday
This launch and retrieve method is not for the weak or meek. You must commit and stick to your guns at every second. Try this when the wind waves are 2.5 feet and current running. You aim up current of the trailer and hope you guessed correctly.
Nothing swins like a Deere
Same thing replicated at any small commercial beach fleets
Thank you 🙂
Love it
Makes me feel like a tractor operator....in the ocean.
Git r done ❤
And absolutely no one comments on the trailers left sitting on that salt beach! Bet they go thru 1 a year.
see all the trucks further up the beach? yeah, those trailers are owned by them. the traditional way of launching doesn't work because you would hydrolock your engine before getting to a floating point. the tractor's engine is mounted way higher so that it can get the boats out far enough. also, they park there because the owners of the boats are in them so they can't reattach to the trucks, they are just left there for ease of access for the tractor.
I thought the thumbnail was RC's. Watched just to find out :)
I thought the same thing. Definitely not a click bait clip for once.
@jeffharper7579 nah, was a cool little vid
Poor John Deere 🙁
Oh , so this is how they launch those fishing boat there .
John Deere tractors are made to be in a corn field, about as far as physically possible from salt water. I'm curious on how the bearings hold up after the axle is submerged.
The chinese helped fix that
@@JohnLee-jk5ew ???
The axle bearings have grease fittings. Greasing early and often would help push the salt water out, but at the end of the day salt does what salt does.
@@Bear-jc2hy I grew up on a farm and know what grease fittings are. BTW, I date to the time when grease fittings were called "zirks". When I was later in the army and around M198 howitzers I hated them because the axles were not sealed and had to be repacked after ever field exercise.
@@Easy-Eightis what where Zirk fittings came from? I assumed it was a brand name.
Tractor + salt water = very short life
You see the same thing in South Australia west of the State except the boat owners have their own tractor.
Super helpful man, much appreciated!
With a tractor like that, you don't even need a boat.
Been there
Good ole Homer
I love these types of videos. Along with carpenter or other constructions tips and tricks. The comments are full of buffoons criticizing everything lmao
You hit the nail on the head! Instead of just enjoying the video, idiots must criticize! Thanks for your comment!! 👍
@@patallen5095god forbid anyone add their opinions, right?
Nice. Heading out for Halibut or Salmon?
Rusty tractor. Curious how long it lasts.
If I had to say, I would speculate that this tractor is from 1980 or similar years ago
I would be curious how long machines last in this service as well. Sure the tractor may be from the 1980's but they may have acquired it two months ago.... Where old machines go to die....
Maybe it’s a fresh water lake
I know it sounds crazy...but some people know how to maintain their equipment. Seems like they're lasting long enough, and doing what they need to do. Besides, spending a few minutes putting a boat in water is pretty light duty, compared to pulling implements in a field all day.
@@42anon427but... salt water.
that john deer is going to rust very quickly
That looked liked an early 80’s late 70’s model
See how the glass is curved? If I was a betting man I would say right around 1980 model tractor…. 44 years old
Repurposed for one use, rust not a problem
@@davestrachan7314 I'd say that tractor gets a fresh water wash after every day of work.
The fur will protect it!
That music smacks
Same as Brazil
Push ups on the tracks be careful doing that
Cool video, well done Dave!
great it's very useful
I couldn’t get it apart. When I returned it 2 more people tried to get it apart and couldn’t. This product sucks on every level.
Yeah and if it doesnt steam put crl in it or white vinegar turn on fir 30 seconds shut off set it and forget it for days.then go turn on and pump it like crazy it should steam if not then take it apart with this guy😊i try to get the company to help me and they wanted to charge me grrrrr
Thank you, I figured there had to be a way to disassemble this thing.
