Thank you for this helps me a lot hope you create more videos about hvac
Thank u for this video. Can u send me any hvac example for HAP.
can you shear weather library with me as you discussed in video 3:52?
Thank you for the great explanation 👌🙏
Thank you so much for this tutorial. Is there any way to set up on hap that there is going to be an exhaust fan or system in some specefic areas?
THANK U A LOT FOR THIS WONDERFUL INSTRUCTIVE VIDEO
So nice of you.
Thank you for your amazing video.
Thank you.
Ethan, very good(v 5.10). Please do it for version 6.1 where you can import the floor plans, & define the building & spaces right on the floor plans. Then link the HAP functions to the bldg & spaces. It's easier said than done. Thanks, D
Thank you for your comment. Sure! I plan to do it soon.
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge engineer
I am glad you found it useful.
Hello sir! I am doing thesis on chilled water thermal energy storage with PCM using one dimensional explict finite difference upwind scheme to solve my heat transfer problem. I would like to know my system can be solved with excel or not because I cannot use special progarm like MATLAB. Can I get your email please sir?
sure. email me at elanguri at tntech dot com and I'll be glad to help.
Thank you for the examples! When solving #1 & 2, why are the units for temperatures not converted to Kelvins?
Have a programm a airchange rate in heath care facilities? Can i calculate with this siftware air balance in heathcare facilities?
Yes, you can use HAP for healthcare facility HVAC design. Your Air Change rate would be more aggressive. Good luck!
Thank you for simplifying this Ethan!
Thank you for your kind words.
Hii sir. First time in download. But hap license key not working sir send me the details please
Hi - You need to contact Career HAP to request one. I hope you can get the code and use the HAP.
You just can't fix stupid.
😮
My last two braincells to focus on a test.
Very good and simple explanation for the two systems. Thank you
This is great. Could you please do more FE sample problems?
Sure, I plan to do more soon.
This is very helpful. Thank you.
Conduction heat transfer is very important, specifically from molecular point of view. Can you record a lecture on phonon transfer as well? Thanks for sharing these with all.
hello engineer when do you release the next part?
I plan to record a new video on the new version with extended features. Thank you for your comment.
👌👌👌
Thank you :)
Thank you for this!
Thanks for sharing
Feel proud as an Iranian! Good luck and best wishes!
Thank you! I do :)
how is it with sound pollution (LFN too) and formaldehyde gas?
Thank you for sharing this. Any other video to learn about measuring tools? Doing IAC in KY

In the microturbine unit you showed a recuperator instead of driving a steam turbine Which one is more efficient steam turbine or recuperator??
Can i get the report of this project? I want to work on this for semester project. I need your guidance. 🙏🏻
Hi. I try to find it and see if I can share it with you. Thank you.
Hi, I want to solve the heat transfer equation with conductive boundary conditions including the heat generation but my heat is given in watts therefore I am confused how to consider the heat generation in this case. Could you please help me in this. Thanks
Hi Drishvi - One way is to divide the Watt value you have by the length of your boundaries, hence you have heat generation with the unit of [W/m]. Now if you need a [W/m^3] value for your 3D modeling (which I don't know what problem you are trying to solve), you can either assume unit length for other two directions and use the same value you found for [W/m] OR you can include the length you have on other dimensions and have a [W/m^3] value. I hope it helps a bit.
Excellent lecture, thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Can you give an example of the implicit method??.........This is so far the best explicit method video I've watched. Can't wait to get that of the implicit method. Thanks for the great video!!!
Great suggestion! YEs, I will.
Hi that what an excellent video really helped with my coding for my final year research project, furthermore i was curious if you are planing to release a part two, possibly giving an example on the implicit method would really help, thanks again.
Hello Tarun. Sure, I will record the Part 2 of this topic soon. Thank you for your feedback and kind words.
This is a great video. Keep it up!
Thank you!
Good morning, thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to publish these videos. Could you share which book are you using or recommend to FE mechanical? I would love to hear from you..
I believe the book used for FE problems was "FE Mechanical Review Manual" by Michael R. Lindeburg. Thank you for asking this question.
Book ?
I believe the book used for FE problems was "FE Mechanical Review Manual" by Michael R. Lindeburg. Thank you for asking this question.
Great Explanation of all the details. I actually watched the video in 1.75X speed and it was perfect!
Thanks for your feedback! You can save time this way for sure! Great idea!
You were not calculated both (Nu)i and (Nu)o from Table 8.2, you did the calculation for once and find 5.63. The one you found was for (Nu)i but you treat as it is (Nu)o and put it to the ho equation and then find ho. This is not correct.
Hello Taluyhan - Thank you for your comment. I reviewed the video one more time to make sure I understand your comment. In the solution, two separate Nu values found. One belongs to the inner side fluid (aka cold fluid) that Nu was 90, and the oil Nu value is also found at the annulus that was 5.63 (that you referred to in your comment). So in conclusion, two values for Nu were found (not one) for inner and outer fluids, hence corresponding h values must be accurate. I hope this answer your question. Thank you again for your comment and feedback anyway.
you are the best. Please make more videos for helpless students. Amazing lecture
Thank you Masud for your feedback.
Excellent professor
Anytime Prof. Ryan! Thank you for your feedback!
