I got to this scene a few days ago. DAMN, Shiki had an experience as if he's witnessing the birth of the universe then just ends it. What a banger way to end the final fight. RIP Roa, you were best GPS.

Imo, this scene was the single greatest addition to the original game's story. While it didn't change much in the grand scheme of things, Arcueid coming to terms with her feelings and accepting her inevitable death as a price worth paying for her beloved Shiki's safety was simply too beautiful. It broke my heart just as much as it made me love her.

When this first played on the remake during Arc's route, I burst into tears. It was used at such a perfect moment and it caught me off guard. I loved the original version and hearing such a beautiful remake rendition warms my heart.
