In May I went on a 3400 mile road trip - from KC to Boston, then to NC to visit a friend and back home. I'm in a little Chevy Aveo but driving thru thunderstorms on the interstate was scary! Hard to see the road. I suppose sitting up high as in your truck, it makes it a little "easier" ? I enjoy traveling "with" you! I'd rather be the passenger than the driver!!

Hey man …. I travel for a living building America and I got nothing but love for you truckers. I stayed the night in many rest areas driving across country and one thing I’d invest in if I were you, baby wipes with soap. I’ve done a rest stop wipe down more than a few times but it beats going to sleep sweaty n sticky. Be careful out there big guy

Personally If I owned the business, I’d just pay someone like a homeless dude do clean it up. Those people who do it are not gonna stop, if you kick them off the property you lose money. Pay a homeless dude to do it and he atleast gets supplemental income and get cleaned up

Biggest mistake was you backed off the road. As soon as you see your trailer start to go ,stop, pull ahead (hopefully you still can) straighten it out and try again. I'd pack a set of worn out chains. They'll save your ass every time. I haul logs so this nothing new to us.

We know who's leaving the apple juice bottles ... its truckers guys, let be real. Dont blame that mess on families traveling to see grandma lol. We know who trashes these rest stops as well. There's a certain segment in the trucking industry that are scumbags! Not all, just some. And contrary to popular belief, its not just foreigners. I've seen fat, white, bearded slobs dumpin piss right out their drivers window at the truck stop, several times!
