Miramar is LOADED with Peacock Bass!!!
We went out to Miramar once again and killed it! I have some personal spots I have been shown and found in Miramar but just fishing the area I have found you can catch Peacock Bass EVERYWHERE!!! We took a 2 day trip to fish different canals and did not leave empty handed. Hope you guys enjoy!

My buddy, Josh and I, went back out to the Yankeetown Bridge for this trip. At one point we saw a school of 15-20 black drum ranging from what looked like 30-40icnhes. They were all chilling in the spot over by where we were fishing and that’s how I ended up landing one. I apologize in advance for being extremely loud when I did hook up, I got a little hype since I’ve never caught a fish this b...

Hey guys, I went out to Yankeetown, FL for this trip and landed one of my biggest PB fish. We were fishing with live shrimp and I was running 20lb Jbraid with a 20-28in fluorocarbon leader with a 1ot j hook. I was lucky to get the opportunity to not only catch but land this fish in the circumstance I was in. Enjoy the video!

Hey guys my name’s Dorian, my fishing partner, Jason, and I went out to Miramar, FL and hooked onto a good amount of Peacock Bass. We stopped by plenty of different canals and ponds next to neighborhoods and stores around the area and got into some action with Peacocks and Snakehead. Sorry didn’t see your comment. I don’t have any pinned spots except one of the areas but everywhere else was just an experiment. It seems like right now is a good time to go cause how hot it is. It seems any body of water I have fished in the Miramar/Pembrooke Pines area HAS peacocks and most definitely Mayan Cichlids. And im almost positive most bodies of water especially canals, have snakehead in them

Where at in Miramar i been trying to find a spot
Go fish around the neighborhoods in Pembroke Pines. The canals around the stores too. They all have them you just gotta find the right structures. Drains, big rocks. Places for them to drop under if they can bite a fish and use live shiners with a 1ot circle hook

@@keitakecookingtoyourbeat4231 no problem! You’ll see snakehead for sure and I tend to catch large mouth here and there at different spots. I also catch a bunch of cichlids and caught a jaguar cichlid last time I went as well. I see Gar a lot in different spots too. One of the canals we were fishing at first in the video was connected to the Everglades canal. I’m not sure exact spot but if you can find Everglades canal in Miramar area try fishing there. Saw a bunch of mullet and tarpon

I agree and apologize for that lol. If you look real close at the top of the screen right under the top of my pole you will see the peacock pick up and run off with the worm. I had my GoPro pointed down to see the water then I ended up fishing this part crouched down

Yep thats the way i do it to... some people just over complicate their knots when simple ones like that work just as well
Didn’t see you leave this comment, sorry! But exactly. I think this knot is pretty strong and gives you the confidence that your knot will be strong just because of how many times you wrap around the hook and the line holds itself. Also extremely easy!
