I think modern gaming fails to include these types of comforting feelings like we get in the panel. Seeing the characters just live and interact with each other would be a phenomenal game, even IF the combat wasn't the highlight of the game, the truth is seeing characters interact with each other would make an amazing game in itself. Them just having weird antics and you getting to see what's going on. Even if there was no action, the game would sell fantastically. Who doesn't want to see "apocalypse" characters having a good time? Zombie movie/game characters do not get to experience everyday life, and seeing Leon Kennedy eat a sandwich would be quite honestly 10/10 game and it would be 11/10 if the whole crew was there talking and laughing about nothing at all. Now THAT would be a fantastic game in 2024. Of course they could tie in a fantastic action story. Defense against zombies defending a house from zombies. Simple, yet a fantastically fun premise.

I know they're real people, but I still feel like I just saw Shadowheart hand a water bottle to Lae'Zel. I need to play other games lol

Excellent panel moderated by the amazing Wee Claire! Neil's "good things happen when you allow other people in" is very similar to a line the player can tell Astarion towards the climax of his personal quest. The entire cast has such good chemistry and are super fun to watch.

I missed this one although Phoenix is abit far. For me right now.Maybe next year. After I retire. The cast of BG3 is beloved and will be for along time to come. I don't know if they can parley that into more success on an individual basis in their careers. We know the game is over and while I understand why it's a bit saddening if I can use that term to know it's over. I do know that I will be more inclined to buy a game if I find out one of them is a va in it although that might be foolhardy considering how many bad games may come out in the future. I will always wish them well.
