I did a very similar repair, because of a burnt out light bulb. I think that it was labeled Transmission Lube light, suppose to come on, key on engine not running & when there is trouble. Help did not care that it was not working. I did this in 78. Had to put the longer filters on it, and the clean up filter kit, 6 filter changes, before regular filters. Hello from north east Montana. 10 miles from the Canadian border.

When I lived in the city, I thought farmers weren't all that smart. I mean, all they had to know was take a seed cover it with dirt and add water. Right? I moved to the Midwest and spent time on a huge farm. I realized the farmers need to know everything possible about farm equipment, everything about chemistry and soil prep, how to use watering pivots, and all about plant disease. Turns out farmers are pretty damn smart!

I used my buddies high dollar snap on torque wrench and also did the paint marks, when done it looked like a porcupine, they were going everywhere, I added to most of them to make it correct
