It saddens me that I never heard this back when it released. This is one of my favorite game tracks of all time and an absolutely bad ass cover. It would be so dope to have an entire OST reimagined like this, but I will settle for my main jam. Blows my mind how this has not got more attention than this over the years. Without a description I would never guess this is "not finished". lol You friggin rock!

I lost contact with someone I cared about a lot years ago and in that time I used to listen to this song, something about this song just brings me back to that time maybe it’s the beautiful guitar cover or that I would play halo reach a-lot around that time or both either way this cover will always hold a special place in my heart.

This should have been in the game. I can imagine this in a sun set scenario towards the end of the level Exodus or something.

Reading the description made me smile and shed a few tears of joy, my father practically raised me in halo and it’s always heartwarming to hear the franchise that shaped me and allowed me and my dad to be so close inspiring and bringing other people together. This is an amazing cover and I hope you and your son go on to have more great adventures in halo together.

This could make great Multiplayer menu music.

Sounds like something that would appear out of a Saturday morning cartoon show. It's not a bad thing though, would be kinda cool to hear something this emotional in those kinds of shows.

1:51/2:08 Sounds like the beginning of a TDM in COD.

This one really lends itself well to a guitar cover. I don't even like most covers, but this still sounds sad, it keeps the tone just fine. As good as Ashes is, it plays near the end of the game where all the action is ramped up, and Reach was sorely lacking in the guitar department. I think this could have been just as impactful, but it sounds a little more 'cool' as well

Reach had the best campaign I've ever played. It hit me emotionally and it I loved it so much that I replayed it 20 times in one year

it surprises me how not many people have watched/listened to this cover. honestly.. just fucking AMAZING! i love tip of the spear, but this is the best cover i've heard of it ever. keep up the amazing fucking work and honestly ROCK ON!

I think this metal version is actually better than that other one getting a lot of attention.

This sounds straight out of Halo 2! I wish they embraced this style more in the newer games. Could you do a version of Through The Trees next? Would be interested to hear what that sounds like in this style
