You made it look easy. Well done. I did not use two tools so turned a pipe. Changed tap. I bought flexi x 2 but tap came with one. Bit long but top is different so have to use it. So hot and scary. Well, fingers crossed. Four isolator screws to get right too.
Do they have the seals at the ends of the flex threads. Should be a black rubber washer in-between your tap and flex. Sometimes your tap can crack internally from the stems try no to bang them if they are cold it can crack the ceramic plating. I find the best taps are internally brass. They crack a lot less better for fixing and they are lead free. Cheap taps expect problems..
You jumped the killing bit ie getting the tap connector of the tap before freeing the back nut. That's where I am stuck and I guess because you jumped it you had similar problems!
For me these are the worst designed cars for changing bulbs. Changing the front driver's side headlight bulb is a nightmare. Having to take out the tube for the washer bottle. To get to the plate in front of the bulbs. Hardly any room to get your hand in. It took me an hour. I scraped some skin off the back my hand, also I swore loads

Wonder how old that flexi hose was... I have never seen one in such bad shape.
Thanks, helped me out.
How do you disconnect them the ones connected to the valve with no nut on them?
i bought 2 flexi hose to repair but theyre both leaking above the nut (between the nut and hose) Am i missing something?
