Thank you Michi! I lived in the beautiful island of Okinawa for 3 years. I remember eating these while I visited Onna. It was my favorite treat to stop for, they were filled with a hotdog filling in the middle. Have been craving one for a while. Now I can make it and share it with my family. =)
Camera person hungry!!😂 the nishime looks yummy!!!
I can't believe I found your channel! Please continue to share with us more of your recipes! Everything looks so delicious! 😘😇
Geez, you blew my eardrums out @1:58!😳
This recipe was delicious. Arigato! I used half of this type curry and 1/2 curry powder mixed with flour.

Hi Michi, please show me how to make Japanese clear soup, chicken and tofu, stew (seafood optional), somen sauce, and egg soup.
I usually use curry powder
Thank you for the recipe. This is how my mom used to make it with daikon and gobo but with chicken. Could you please list the sauce ingredients? Do you use sake?
I use chicken thighs!
My Mom made the same thing minus the spinach but added miso. I prefer it without miso.
Thanks so much for this. My mother is Okinawan and I remember her making this when I was younger. She has since passed and I never got her to teach me this so it is nostalgic and now I know.
When you talk, I had to put up volume but when music comes way too loud , I had to put down volume.
Whatever you put in , can you show us the bottle or package.
She used: 2 cups of chopped Shiso leaves 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/4 blue agave sugar (Regular sugar would be fine, personally I would use Mirin instead) 1 Tbsp. Hon Dashi powder(Japanese powdered fish soup base made by Ajinomoto)
Mahalo Aunty for sharing your recipes, I can’t wait to try this one out!
I made this without spinach or Mai fun; my family liked it; I liked that you added the dashi; didn’t think of that, so I added it; it turned out pretty good. Thank you!
Tysm now my mom can make sata andagi ty!! ✨💕 今、私のお母さんはサタとandagi tyを作ることができます!✨💕

Thank you for sharing your recipe! I did not like nishime when I was a kid, but I started to like it as I grew older -- now it is one of my favorites!
