Byrne is SOOOOO handsome
Cucù mai che fai un film decente
Well done!
I miss paul, season 4 cannot compare to the brilliance of the first three seasons
Season 4 was a disgrace
I 💚 him. He’s human. Honestly, this gorgeous man is a punching bag for his patients.
Where can I watch this show besides hbo? 🥺
Gabriel Byrne was incredible in this role, and Amy Ryan is obviously very talented to go from playing goofy, lovable Holly in The Office to this.
So this is what Holly is up to now!!!
What's the ending song?
Adel is the best character
By the time I got to the end of this series I thought Paul was the biggest dunce that needed to be on the therapists couch.
He's Great at his Role as a Therapist (For the most part) he just can't cope with being in 'the other chair' and deliberately tried to push away the Therapist that is working with him and sabotage any minor progress they manage to make with him. He did this with Gina constantly but she let him off too often because they have history and she really wanted to help him despite all he did and she knew if she persevered with him she would bring out the side of him he needed to get something 'real' out of his time with her. He then does the same with Adele but because she has no links/history to him like Gina does she is able to challenge him in a bigger way (despite not being as experienced as Gina was) as she does here when he pushes the boundaries just that bit too far.
LOVE Paul: he is jut a bad patient
@@reelincoln7747 just like teachers are bad students, doctors are bad patients. lol
Best drama ever created, Adele and Sunil my favorites through all 3 seasons. Season 2 wasn't very intresting, but 1 & 3 were phenonmenal, sure wish ( hbo ), would do a 4th season. I was in therapy at the age of 27, and now in therapy for the second time in my life at the age of ( 48 ), this series is as realistic as life can be.
+david banner I was in therapy at the age of 27, and now in therapy for the second time in my life at the age of ( 48 ), this series is as realistic as life can be. David Banner in therapy... I pity the shrink who fails to help you control the rage within!! More seriously, I concur wholeheartedly, especially as a patient who was a lot like Paul, minus the double life as a first rate psychotherapist, all the way down to my behavior in therapy:angry, combative, and deeply afraid. Oddly enough, my prior therapist was a lot like Gina and, for all of her virtues, I might be better served in the long one by an Adele type.
Baron Of Hair ohh' I adele, probably because she was almost exactly like my real life therapist at 27, her looks and everything. And' my therapist at 48, I would best describe as a female version of paul, very helpful but' sometimes seemed a bit confused but very comfortable to talk to. Thanx for sharing!
+david banner ohh' I adele, probably because she was almost exactly like my real life therapist at 27, her looks and everything. With the benefit of hindsight, what were some of the strengths and weaknesses of this type of therapist, if you don't mind my asking, Dave?
+david banner Fascinating interview with two writers on the show, who sum up the differences between the two: www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=130733029 In retrospect, must confess that I indulged in a fair amount-well, more than fair, really-of testing with my prior Gina; while we didn't initially have a complex past(and no, things never got unethical in the two and half years in which we saw one another), she was Diane Wiest esque down to her vocal tones and peachy sweet demeanor: despite being well over 30 and very bright, one could be forgiven for mistaking her for a gal fresh out of college. Perhaps an ideal fit for someone less troubled than yours truly; can't help but wonder how different things might have been with a practitioner who, as the writers say of Adele was "wise, gentle, whilst also steadfast"
Baron Of Hair Thank you, really appreciate this.
Yes.
Just finished the last episode of season 3...Well that was a great series, and some amazing acting ! Too bad it's not very popular!
Hell yeah! Nice Video!
