Here's my alopecia story, which started 20 months ago and is yet to end. Hopefully, this story might give knowledge to others that would like to hear more about the nature of alopecia areata, treatments and hair solutions/systems. Much love x

How long did it take to recover? Did u get it from stress?
Wonderful progress. Has the pill form of Minoxidil caused any unwanted hair to grow ie. on your face? Apparently, this us a possibility.

I also was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata during COVID-19. I lost hair on my crown. When I went to see my GP, he confirmed it. Fortunately, my hair has grown back for now. I was told that it is an autoimmune disease and not caused by stress. I wore hair toppers and received many compliments, and that helped with my confidence.
I used garlic at night, n onion in the morning 1 hour before bath
Research mega doses of d there are alot of studies on d3 and omega 3.

Such great news for you so happy for you. Now the oral minoxidil is very much sometimes I recommended. My question is did you experience any hair growth on other areas? Face? Etc? Hope you let me know. Thank you

I am just 16 in 9 th grade I started noticiding one bald spot and now it's increasing and spreading even after using treatments I don't have much money to spend on injections and all but I am really struggling now it's starting to come in front I don't know what will I do
Oh, darling. Spend the money. It will bring you peace knowing that you are trying everything possible. How are you doing?

Hi! I'm afraid not - everything it all good. All my patches are filled and my hair is now down to my bust :)
Thank you for sharing your story. You have the best attitude. I have a different type of alopecia and totally get what you had to be feeling. Mine started before yours and is one without a cure but you really can control it if you treat it as soon as it gets active. I have been in Minoxidil for years now and I will never stop it unless there is a medical reason that I have to. What I have is called lichen planopilaris. I take many different medications Spiranolactone that it doesn’t allow the hair growth in other parts of the body from Minoxidil also different vitamins like Kerotin and Nutrafol on a daily basis. I have always had great dermatologist from Universities where they do studies for new treatments therefore I know I am always treated with the latest. I am also blessed with a full head of hair but it takes a lot to keep it that way. I wish you the best and God willing we will remain in remission for good. I love your country. I live in the United States but I have a son that has been living in Manchester for the last 14 years. Good luck and keep us updated on your journey.

Gi! I stopped the minoxodil 5-6 months before I took this video and haven't taken any since! My hair is great now. All patches are finally filled and its down to my bust :)

My daughter just found a large spot of baldness a month ago, she only told me 2 weeks ago. We are seeing the doctor next week for a dermatologist appointment. In the month the spot has not grown so hopefully it was mostly caused by the start of high school and all the stress that brings.
This is great currently going through own journey and ended up losing over half my head ! Love your post and so helpful and informative (1st I have listened to all way to end) I am sharing my journey but have spent fortune on cheap wigs and realised that I just need to pay more !! (helps me sharing 😅) it’s certainly an experience and your amazing have a great outlook on Alopecia and beautiful too so extra bonus ! X x

Hey! I stopped taking oral minoxodil roughly 5-6 months before this video was recorded and haven't taken any since! My hair is still going strong and is pretty long now! So altogether - I took it just for 7 months from March to November 2019 :)
Thanks so much for your reply. Also, please advise if there was any side effect as I had tried to rub those mouse foam, it seems that I had some hair grown near my mouth just like moustache, then I stopped using it. Also, will that work for hereditary hair loss or menopause hair loss at all? Please reply when you can. Take care and thanks a lot again!
@@qqhk9647 Hi! Sorry, it's been so long. I did not get any noticeable side effects from the tablets of minoxidil. I had not used foams or creams or any topical treatments for a long time as my scalp became super sensitive to this stuff and would come up in a rash. The only thing I did was the tablets for 10 months.... I do not know whether it will work for someone else in my situation - or any other causes of hair loss.

No not yet it’s still trying to grow but not enough to do anything with but still wishing on a miracle not giving in 😀
Do hijab, I was devastated with my alopecia. I had to shave all my Head.
I’d rather have what you had than Androgenetic aloepcia 😢 because this can’t be reversed or cured at all. 💔 is it true if you stop minoxidil though that hair will fall back out? I heard you have to be on monoxide for the rest of your life to possibly keep it.
AGA can't be reversed all that much, but it can be treated. Minoxidil puts it on hold for as long as you keep using it. Once you stop it returns to the baseline (ie. Where it would've been if you never used minoxidil at all). Finastride is also an option if you're male or a female past reproductive age... Comes with crazy side-effects though for some people so it's important you keep communicating with a physician. Do check out Rob English's website and research articles. It's not a cure all by any means, but during my alopecia journey it was the only place I could get authentic information from without feeling depressed.

I just got diagnosed with aga a week ago. 😔 but it can’t be reversed at all. My depressions worsened and it’s taken such a toll on my mental health because it will only progress over time. I’d rather have something that can be reversed. 😞
