It will be super cool for sure with tons of A list entertainment! They need a new PM as it super delayed.
It's coming together, but for sure at a much slower space than expected. Will be great to have this venue close by

Great video..... A lot of missed opportunities here - they could have had the lowest floors be elevated patron seating for a few thousand additional people, built less square footage for guest rooms, and had rooftop space. I'm excited to see what shows are offered here, and how this may complement the $220MM music festival theme park being planned in the SE Valley... I think both fill a niche - VAI fills the need for mid-size venues and can capture guests for multi-day festivals with 10-20 artist performances (ie EDM festivals) and the massive music festival theme park could very well eliminate the need for racetracks as venues - ie EDC las vegas or Phoenix Raceway, etc, etc. - and increase net operating income by not having to pay for temporary mobilization of stages, lighting, sound, toilets, vendors, etc, and not pay for temporary staffing and instead focus on lower administrative costs with year-round staffing. I also believe VAI is now opening 2025 due to the increase in capacity from 9,000 to 11,000. It'll be great though!
Great insight! And agree for sure about all, especially the rooftop space. And yes, pushed back for sure to 2025 (after filming this). will be excited to see it in person, once it's open!
There is NO WAY this project will be opening by the end of 2024. They will be lucky to have an opening by mid 2025. Funny because they were originally shooting for an opening in 2022.
You are correct. Since shooting this, they are pushing it back to: 2025. We’ll see if that holds true
@@phoenixhomesforsale I think late Spring 2025 as there are some bookings out on internal artist rosters already. Expect a lot of multi-day EDM festivals, Thurs load in, Fri-Sun music, Mon check-out.... and Mon check-in, Tue-Thu music, Fri check-out - anywhere from 20-40 artists over each 3-day period. Potential for repeats - ie 2 'fests' in one week, with similar artists. The benefit is higher spend per attendee per day than at Phoenix Raceway or Rawhide, plus much lower operating costs due to minimized logistical challenges - ie transportation and installation and teardown of stages, sound, lighting, toilets, vendors, fences, decor, etc., etc. VAI is a pretty great concept as long as they don't ruin it with one-night, one-artist runs.
