    Problem is, it doesn't really work. I've been a member for 13 years. What people want in a members' club is homely, friendly (and even affordable) food. Now, the ROSL restaurant is very high end. The prices are high and the portions tiny. But there are endless restaurants like that within spitting distance of the Club - if I want that kind of experience, I'll visit one of those. So this change has just made the Club feel unwelcoming. I don't think I'll be renewing my membership this year.

    The 6th Dalai Lama was kidnapped by Mongols not Chinese. 7th Dalai Lama was founded by Tibetans not Chinese. MANCHUS at that period gained some control on Tibet owing to their help in ousting the Nepalese soldiers from Tibet

  • @gyadre
    @gyadre 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Your political history of Tibet and China relation is steeped in British imperial prejudice of big country swallowing the smaller and try to project China as the rightful owner of Tibet. You should know that Tibetans never allowed weapon to transit from India to China via Tibet during WW2. GEORGE Mallory and his expedition sought visa from Lhasa Tibet not Beijing China in 1924. The CIA funding to Tibetan resistance was very small and there were famines in Mustang when soldiers had to eat leathers of belt etc. The help was more of symbolic. US stopped helping Tibetan resistance immediately after Nixon established relationship with China.

    This information comes from a Spanish researcher who loves Jordan. We can stop a lot of pain and suffering revealing these truths. Please share these data with the Jordanian authorities and biologists. It will bring a lot of wealth and contribute to know more about origins. There are 8,500 years old geoglyphs in the Black Desert. Bedouins call these strange circles of basalt the works of the elders. The covered area is huge and is located in its main part in Jordan. They really represent embryos in different stages of development. They can only be seen from satellites, drones and planes. Anyone with even a minor interest in chamber music NEEDS to see Ashley Fripp and Jonathan Radford perform live at least once. It's impossible to fake the dynamic they have, and their set-lists are anything but predictable. You're guaranteed to have stopped by at least three continents after an hour and a half in their company.

    *NORDS* There are 23 billion chickens on earth, if one sneezes we all get the flu, covids are the new norm Soy and corn are gene modded to survive the poisons that kill soil, birds, bugs, fish, frogs & plants. Soy and corn are treated with petrochemicals and nano particles for market. Soy and corn are wrapped in gender bending containers for shipping and storage, then we eat it - get sick - and buy medicine from the same people. WHY THERE WILL NEVER BE A 100% VEGAN GREEN ENERGY WORLD Weather = flash floods + flash fires + flash rains + flash droughts + flash mobs Climate = 30 years of weather + you don’t got time to worry about climate 4% OF MAMMALS ARE WILD + 4% OF ENERGY IS RENEWABLE Solar and wind power are 2% of total global energy use after 20 years trying ( IEA stats 2020 ) By 2040 only 15% of global energy will be renewable This is because electricity is a little over 20% of global energy use By weight only 4% of mammals are wild, humans & livestock = 96% Emissions went up 50% in 30 yrs , up 30% in 15 years BAU = RCP8.5 = C02 @ 500 ppm by 2040 and 600 ppm by 2050 = 2X safe limit of 300 ppm Renewables will be only 20% of global energy by 2050, even with new solar tech - thanks to AC, cryptos, chargers, EVs etc By 2030 half the world will be severely short of water Dams and bio-energy are ecological shit holes 80% of river life is gone and water dam wars are in Africa and Asia 50% of Euro Nord renewable electricity comes from burning imported trees Nords burn corn, soy and palm oil in cars and will do so until 2030 so far Nords burn plastic and recycled paper for electricity In the last 20 years, petrochemical demand grew 7X human population You can’t burn forests for electricity to save us from the climate We can’t build wildfire suppression big enough to handle future wildfires Forest fires will burn faster than we can plant trees We don’t have enough land for bio-energy and carbon capture To get 30% of energy from algae would take a country the size of Argentina To get 20% of global energy from solar in 30 years, we need them 3X faster than now By 2050, there will 78 million metric tons of solar panel waste, generating 6 million metric tons of new solar panel waste annually. Standard electronics recycling methods don’t cut it for solar panels. By 2040 not even half of all cars will be electric By 2040 we will have 10% less food, if we’re lucky REAL CLIMATE JUSTICE = 100% PRIVATE GLOBAL CARBON UBI = 0% FOR GOVERNMENTS lokisrevengeblog.wordpress.com/2020/07/16/the-book-of-knowledge-witless-wonders/
