Meh, older Subarus were better. Especially the ones with manual transmissions. The MT Subies had special, limited slip center differentials. They didn't rely on ABS voodoo back then. And it made them better than most Wranglers unless the Wrangler had a locking center diff and limited slip front and rear diffs. Automatic Subies did not have the limited slip diffs, so they were a big step down in snow or off-road conditions. Nothing special really. The new ones are no better off road than any AWD Nissan, Toyota, or Honda.
My Subaru has studded snow tires on in winter. Spinning the tires is almost impossible. This guy would get through snow faster if he’d let up on the gas pedal.
I love my Subaru I just got my tires changed with some of the best snow cross climate tires there are and even before them with ratty tires it did great last winter no trouble what do ever
LOL So, open diffs front, rear, and center make it special?🤣 Yeah, my 2010 V6 AWD RAV4 has a mechanically LOCKING center diff that the Subie DOESN'T have. Oh, and Audi/VW have a MUCH better AWD system with it's Torsen LSD diffs. Yawn....
I owned a wrx in my young adult days. I plowed through snow. While watching big trucks, SUVs, even they “mighty” jeeps stuck on the road. You got a subi, winter tires a decent driving skills. And not even the ground clearance will stop you.
That Forester has almost 9" of clearance. Even still, because of the way that the underside of a Subaru is designed, everything is almost perfectly flat meaning that the car can slide along the snow without getting diffs or t-cases hung up.
@@bcyr-CO Being perfectly flat would be a really bad thing actually. You'd have more surface area in contact with the snow = more friction, and greater chance to get stuck. There's a reason why it's far easier to high center SUVs than trucks with similar ground clearance. Dragging just a diff cover and control arms in snow won't do much to stop a truck.
Just picked up an Outback. I live on Long Island so the Yokohama Avid GTs are fine for me. If I lived upstate NY or in New England I'd probably lean more towards a mud & snow tire on my next tire selection.
If you just had put it in “XMode” and not Rev the car so much….You could’ve gotten out of the snow perfectly. Just saying. That’s what the XMode feature is for🦊
👁️👄👁️ the transfer case
HELL YEAH BROTHER!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
40сm snow) maybe 15cm?
Unbelievable Tank Car...
Crosstrek? Outback? XV?
Fantastic. This is why for the money Subaru suvs are best all-round
Don’t trust the carfax. This absolutely puts a strain on the transmission. It’s not made for that depth of snow.
You sttffu with this nonsense!!!! GET OUT OF HERE! WAAAHHH!!!!!!
Throw some Michelin Cross climate 2 tires on that Subaru and you'll have the ultimate ride!!

❤😊❤😮
That poor CVT
Put my 2002 Jeep Liberty in 4 wheel drive and I laugh at the snow. Crosstrek is nice also.
I recommend Subaru ascent it’s a family car and off-road car😊
DWA😂😂😂
All Subaru models go better in the SNOW with 4 SNOW TIRES. Duh.

Among Subaru ❤
Try this with new underpowered hybrid model..
Это оутбек или форестер
That's what makes a Subaru, a Subaru
Ain’t no Way a Subaru is going through that💀 I knew Subarus were good at off-roading and snow, but I never expected them to do this 💀💀💀
What you don't know is that he wasn't even in X mode😂😂😂
@@creeps6467 BRUHHHHHH
Put in lower gear

Да, а потом подвесному кирдык придет, и все начнут орать что субару гамно.
Subarus are known for head gasket issues, not cuz of poor design. it's the owners abusing the hell out of them.😂
That may be 40cm built up in front of it, but he's not driving thru almost 16" of snow, you can tell the snow is just up to the rocker panel.
Turn off traction
Чё за танк?!
No car, literally no car is a true AWD except for Subaru.
Wut

@@kx8960VW / Audi AWD or 4WD systems are more performance-oriented i think. Going faster is the objective. Like the insane Golf R.
Realistically ground clearance is the only thing that stops these cars

2024 SUBARU FORRESTER is on my list , should things happen to my classic 2009 SUBARU OUTBACK. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Subaru is the best
😮😮😮😮❤❤
Let's wait for Audi quattro fan;)
What's gonna go first.. head gasket or cvt?
Neither, it’s all the old ones you dumbass

Are those all terrain tires ? Im thinking of putting wider tires but not sure how much i can go without it rubbing.
❤❤❤
Subi said. Meh. Idgaf
That's the best way I know to get 100,000+ miles out of a CVT
If you just had put it in “XMode” and not Rev the car so much….You could’ve gotten out of the snow perfectly. Just saying. That’s what the XMode feature is for🦊
That would have been too easy XD
It mayb be a manual which means no xmode.
@@anthonyjulson8840There is no manual transmission for this model.
But it wouldn’t be as cool of a video. Gotta make it look challenging nam sayn?
CVT is not for off-road use. For off-road use, you need a manual transmission, or at least an automatic transmission.
Yes it is, Subaru can go anywhere where others cant.
Ladies and Gentlemen: The Subaru Snow Plow! 👏 👏 👏
He needed to get to the mechanic on time to get a new head gasket
That back end looks amazing on that forester. Subaru for the win
It looks like an Ascent
Just asking to brake something
That is impressive 👏 👌
Carro monstron 😊
Love mine ❤
Fun times all of you guys and I can hear speaking khmer language!😂😂😂
I'll be getting one this year
