Anaheim Hills is a geographical area in East Anaheim. It is part of the City of Anaheim, and does not have its own police department. There is no such thing as "Anaheim Hills Police Department." . This is an Orange County Fire Authority helicopter.

behind those houses and off to the left, theres Anaheim Elem. school. the one day I was sick, the school was evacuated because of that fire :p

I WAS WATCHING THIS FIRE TOO! RIGHT AT THE RESIVOR BUT AT A DIFFERENT SPOT LIKE 50 FEET AWAY FROM WHERE THE CAMERA PERSON WAS. PLUS MY SCHOOL WAS RIGHT NEXT TO THE FIRE . WE HAD TO EVACUATE.

i live 8 miles south of the brea fires as i was driving to get my sunday morning breakfast at jack in the box i noticed the roadways have been blanketed with ashes reminded me of a layer of fresh snowfall rolled down the window to order and rolled up the window quick after ordering; the burning smell was unbearable. ashes covered the drive-thru window got my breakfast meal and headed home that was 9am and it looked like it was 5pm already

It knocked my internet... And its pitch black outside(when it was 1:00pm) not now or you would have thought im an idiot(because its night)

We live in the area, up the hill ahead of this reservior (near the summit of the hill in the distance). From this angle, it's difficult to get a good assessment of the fire because it's behind the camera, with the smoke moving from left to right (west) out of view. The sky here is completely clear by comparison - the smoke is dark and fills the sky behind this viewpoint.

Wow. Good thing there's SOME water left in the reservoir! Thanks for posting.

I was at work when this part of the fire happened. At 6am police to told are family to get out(mandatory), so we had to go across serrano ave, to stay with my Grandparents(voluntary)! getting home wasnt easy I had to take horse trails to get home, the God Damn Police blocked off the roads !

Oh God, thats the day my neighborhood almost got destoryed ! my neighborhood is at the bottom of the hill of the fire, it got too flippen close !
