Not trying to be a dick but all of that drama and trauma to the fish was highly avoidable. The way the fish was unhooked will have certainly caused it some damage. When fishing venues that dont have grassy banks take a net and a mat. But the main thing is the fish care... Especially if you are not able to control the fish. Dont stand up on concrete with a fish or stand and raise it above your head for photos, this is important when its a large pike. Always kneel or crouch with the fish for photos making sure there is soft ground underneath.
