Good morning, about how many days after they hatch should the nest be put on the cage floor?

Never used pasta in any eggfood mate

My Dr changed me onto it about 3 years ago. No attacks, sleep easy at night. Hardly use Ventolin now. Convince them you want it (often reluctant as it’s more expensive)

I've had a few pairs like that Shane in the goldys mate. Dead in shell ready to hatch. But dead in shell. A bet it's. Same too much calcium.

If the greenfinches are dominant yellow why are you looking for red eyes ? They wouldn't be red eyed and the normals wouldn't carry. Its dominant so either are visual or nothing atall . Got more chance of this 2nd 2 chick's being a dominant yellow if no red eyes . Hope this helps 😁 happy breeding

They would definitely I chose not to feed them myself as prefer to give live food rather than frozen stuff

Good stuff again! On the topic of phones and camera's the birds are super scared of them. Mine are at least. I think they have a level of sound waves like megaherz we as humans cannot hear or sense but our birds can. I think that puts them off.

I have one male EG, and I interact with him every day because I work from home a great deal. He has a huge cage, that is left open in a large room with perches around. He seems happy, flying around, eating, bathing singing on some days. Can I get another male EG to put in the cage/room with him or will they fight? Should I get a female? I don't want him to be lonely. The person we bought him from is useless regarding information. Thanks
Plenty of information as always…Is there a certain breed of canary thats proven to be a more reliable foster parent than most or on the whole would you say its down to the individual bird ?
Thanks mate I always find a perfect feeder comes from cross breeding canaries together Maybe a bigger type bird to maybe a new colour type
I find the Belgian breeds later, usually May, and they are slow feeders as you've said. Larger birds work differently.

True Shane about feeding. The young can get along with 5 / 6 feeds a day, then when a bit older 3 / 4. I only top my egg ups up 5 times a day that's it. Well the miss does when I'm at work.. 😅😅. You look to be doing something right mate. So you keep it that way.

@thebirdroom6306 Just before the start of the season, my son came home from school with a detention, Shane. So at the weekend I had him clean the flights out. Was a picture filming him in my blue jacket. I'd just ordered off one of the pigeon sites 😆 🤣 Piss off Dad filming me, Mum, tell him, lol. Finger crossed he's not come home since with any bad marks. Few a Above & and beyonds, so that's good. He wants some budgies to breed and show. But it's finding the right breeder with decent stock. He's only 12, so he's got some years in front of him if he gets into showing & breeding. He's like the birds with the big heads.
