Testing my dead 4K valve seats, using petrol (gasoline) and air compressor. The compressor is there just to force air through the seat if ever they are leaky. It goes much faster than wait for the petrol to drip through... Verdict : 3/8 seats leaking...
4K stripping

Ignition issue

Ignition issue on my new old 2K - dead spark plug wires (30 years old... some engine don't live that long ya know :D)

After swapping out a broken 4K and fitting a 2K instead, this is the first run. Tach does actually not work (yet, hopefully), and the timing is wayyyyy off.

Fitting the exhaust, propshaft and clutch mechanism onto mi 2K K40. Got some troubles with the exhaust, as the K40 is not the same as the K50. could not manage to fit the exhaust 4 in 2 holder properly. tightened everything, so it does not rattle, though. Fight (and won) over my clutch cable too :)

It did not survive winter ; cracked block :/ I got a spare 2K I'm going to fit in soon, so I can go for MOT (and get my oldies licence plate).

Status Quo playing Whatever you want at a "Night of the Proms" show. They seem to enjoy themselves quite much, and so do the orchestra and crowd :)

Fleetwood Mac had an entire Marching Band on stage for “Tusk”, Quo just blew them out of the water!!!!!
Status Quo proved their musicality during the recorded UNPLUGGED show at the Camden Round House shown on the BBC. For once Rick could sing naturally and the band went up higher in my estimation. I think the video is on BBC iPlayer and TH-cam . Do watch it
The crowd and even the orchestra were getting off on Quo.

People always rip up Quo as a band but I bet when they are at a wedding or a party when their music played they all get up and dance and sing, rock on quo ps try playing their songs the way they play it’s very difficult 3 chords my arse
