To be honest, I don't like to overthink over things like the Withered gamma designs before the MCI (1985), merely because it's clear those designs were intended to tell the gamers that there was a first Freddy Fazbear's Pizza before the events of FNAF2, it's like visual narrative, and that being said, it makes sense that Scott didn't care of consistency, because after all they are the same characters, no matter what the design. Another reason of why the Withered gamma exist is pretty simple besides narrative, and that is... putting effort on not recycling the models from the first game and do a lazy thing as tear them apart and paste them in FNAF2. I know people love to try fill holes like that, but for the sake of focusing on what's important for narrative, I'd simply pass on when speaking of designs consistency, at least in cases like this, when even the book has to clarify a thing like this.

I don’t understand the confusion with this cutscene. Well… that’s a lie, I do understand why it could be confusing but. It’s FNaF 2, the game with the “Give Life” minigame. This is just a rendition of that. And Scott already confirmed that the withereds and the OG’s are one and the same. So these are just the withereds but fixed. The Puppet is the one who brings the children back to life.

Gotta say the detail of the fnaf animatronics we see in fnaf 1 being the originals, that were then changed into the untethered, then changed back again by fnaf 1 makes a lot of sense, or at least explains a lot. It's a bit over-complicated sure, but the week before pretty much outright states it. The fnaf 1 crew are these animatronics "original designs". And the fnaf 1 location being the original building lines up nicely as well. In so many words, I really like this theory ^.^

It is mostly solid, but it does make you question why the Withered Animatronics would be in the FNAF 2 location. Did their location get shut down, they get transported to the new one to be used for parts, then once the new location closes down they get restored and tranported back to the old location?

This was just an obvious thing given the context of FNAF 2 presenting the cutscenes and minigames to us, I’m so confused why this has to be solved when it feels like it’s pretty cut and dry

It’s possible they kept stuffing people to see if the killer was in the suit so they could prepare him for golden Freddy and the puppet to put him in eternal torment. So phone guy basically died for nothing.

I've seen multiple TH-camrs years ago already say it was about the MCI children waking up. And you forgot to use the fnaf 2 retrofitting call as evidence.

You could add that to the theory that Jeremy Fitzgerald is having these dreams in the POV of Freddy because of him needing to use a *possibly* remnant/agony-infected Freddy Fazbear mask. Pretty cool video :)
