This is how to disassemble most dirt bike, ATV, and Powersports engines. Any dirt bike engine I come across, I will be recording disassembly in either 3 or 4 part video series.
A lot of these engines I will be learning disassembley at the same time. So if you have any advice please let me know. I hope for the channel to be informative and accurate.
I started by doing full rebuild/restorations on 65cc - 125cc two stroke dirt bikes. I also work on Audi A4 model cars mostly B5/B6 chassis. I have been working on engines for most of my life.
But there's always more to learn! This is what we're all here for on TH-cam. Thanks to everyone for watching, subscribing, and leaving a like!
If you would like more dirtbike, ATV, and Powersports engine disassembley videos, hit subscribe and let's learn together.
If you have any questions just ask! I love to help and I'll do what I can to get you back up and running.
🙂🤙🫡

what would bee needed to convert to a 6 speed is there a difference between the 5 speed and the 6 speed bottom, end cases
You should watch 2 vintage before you try this
I haven't heard of them. But I'll definitely check it out. 🙂🤙
Bro I'm so glad to find someone on the tube like myself! Granted your so much more knowledgeable on this than myself. Why I'm watching obviously but shit never goes the way we intend! If all content on the tube was as real we'd live in a better world in these times! Keep on keeping on my man! Thank you for the help!
@@joshburns3481 The struggle is real. 🤣 I try to keep the problems and solutions in the videos if possible. Every engine seems to have something. 😁Thank you very much for the ups! 🙂🤙🫡 Makes me want to make another video.
Does this work for 92 kx80?
@@jisify1708 it will be very similar. You might need to take off the water pump Impeller before you can remove the inner clutch case 🙂🤙
Can you upload the full break down for the DRZ125?
@@stewartlance hey! Hopefully I can get one in soon. I'll look for another drz125 and make a complete ASAP. I buy bikes all the time, so I'll keep an eye out for another 🙂🤙 Thank you very much for the sub too! 🫡
Did you sell the reeds?
Let me check and see 🙂🤙🫡
Should have Ben small washer behind the propeller pump. Washer propeller then nut
@@treeslayer2275 Great comment and information. I'm still learning most of these as I go. They're all a little different. 🙂🤙
@@FloridaBikeSupplyOnline thanks for your video I have a 01 and 04. KLX 300 one has big bore 50 kit and is my first dive into fourstroke engine repair. Following 😂
@@treeslayer2275 Nice bikes! Fun to work on and super reliable 🙂🤙 Good luck on the the build 💪 Thanks a million for the sub too! 🫡
@@FloridaBikeSupplyOnline hey is there a way for water to get in my oil other than the oil and water seal behind the propeller I inspected them and they look fine but I have water in my oil is there any other way for water to get in the oil other than the seal failure
I actually just replaced them because it was leaking out the seep hole tiny little trips so I replace the seals seems to be running okay but when I took it up to the RV park they ran for a little bit and died and I couldn't get it started then that's when I noticed water in the oil I took it home took it apart and inspected and they look fine to me there's no visible damage and I know the one behind the bearing you can't really see good but I don't understand how water is getting in the oil am I over-tightening the propeller I think it's about 17 lb torque spec where am I under tightening it would either of those cause it to leak I'm so bummed out right now man I put so much time and money into this 350 build. I've gotten like 10 minutes of right time on it I bought it the kicker crank exploded replace the bottom in had it professionally rebuilt by holeshot Motorsports that's when I noticed the leak and now I'm at where the point like I said it's getting water in the oil but everything looks okay
Dab of grease is called for the oil filter spring by the Kawasaki Manuel or lean the bike over. Like literally tiny dab of grease
My gears or shift forks or transmission is messed up my gears not going into 4 and 5 starts acting weird in 2 and 3 gears any suggestions
Awesome you are trying to help people learn. But man, you have no idea what you are doing and you are learning along the way. Make sure your viewers understand that you have no clue what you are talking about and learning as you go.
Good advice, yes I definitely don't know every engine. I plan on redoing a few of these videos, this series in general. Thanks for watching and the input. I will have to make this clear on my channel. 🙂🤙🫡
Any way I can contact you ?
Yo bro
Hey! What year & model is it and what's the bike doing 🙂🤙
@@FloridaBikeSupplyOnline I bealive it’s a 2013-2016 model and it doesn’t want to crank up for some reason but I believe it had so do with some part
@@FloridaBikeSupplyOnline is there anyway I can contact you to show you
@@FloridaBikeSupplyOnline is there anyway can contact you?
Hey, sorry for the late reply. What's the bike doing when you try to kick it over or start it.
Bro my dirtbike won’t start and I need help with it
Buy a JIS tip impact screwdriver if you mess with Japanese philips often. Made by Vessel.
I'm going to look into this! 🙂🤙
Use the correct tools
I try to use tools that are easy accessible to most people. But I can't say your incorrect 🙂🤙🫡
You need a impact screwdriver
I couldn't agree with you more 🙂🤙 I will be getting one soon 🫡
That's not a RM 250 bottom and that's a KX250
You're totally correct! I can't believe I missed it. Thanks for catching that. I'll have to make some edits. Thanks you again 🙂🤙🫡
The cloth lets the air escape faster and lets it slip on easier.
I can't believe how much time it saves! Anytime I'm taking off an oil plug, I throw on a glove over my glove. Keep wrenching! 🙂🤙 Thanks for watching and the knowledge! 🫡
I don't think it's UP brand, you trying to be funny. I hope so
It's horrible, I was serious 🤣 Once I took a picture to ask my guy, I thought.. maybe this is a logic thing. 🙈🤫
With a good impact you can just hold with your hand.
You could probably take it all the way down with a hammer. But I would never recommend it 🙂🤙🫡 Be easy on the internals if you can.
Do you know what the top right gear is? Mine broke and I cannot for the life of me find the part anywhere
Hey! That's called the exhaust valve governor. I have one for sale on my shop actually 🙂🤙 and I can beat any price 🫡
Noice
i did the same operation to remove only the clutch now i’m waiting for the pieces. great job
Hey! I'm glad to hear it helped 🙂🤙🫡 I'll have the last part of the series out soon 😎
