So cut You need some cats My sister had a talented handyman who built a house-looking structure for her house cats. It was about 5 ft tall with a couple of levels, and a way for them to climb up from inside. It got so much use.

This is expensive and time consuming to do. Comic book boards online come in 100/pack for about $36. That's 36 cents a piece. Plus the comic book boards are archival, which protects the fabric.

II've been using foam board for my fabric, but I cut it to 12" tall which lets me simply fold my 44-45 quilting fabrics from the store in half lengthwise then wrap it. That leaves me with a little bit of the foam board to rest on my shelves rather than the fabric and I don't have to make that extra fold to get it on the board.

Is the "rotary blade" the blade that comes with the Cricut Explorer Air 2? Will this same Cricut model also cut through fabric? Thank you!

Good hack! It wouldn't bend like comic book boards sometimes do. Don't throw the small piece leftover from cutting the foam board. You can use it to wrap binding on. 🙂

Thanks. I folded the way you did around a ruler, pulled the ruler and then made a stack and put into my basket on the edge. This way I can see all the colors like you. I need to put my fabrics out of sight for some reason. I get weird seeing all my unused fabric all the time, lol. I think I love it too much.

  • @threadsbyelle6077

I do the same only using my ruler. It’s easy to slide out and I don’t have that extra bulk. No to mention the added expense. I have too much fabric to stand on end. My shelves are deep enough to make two rows so I just stack mine. Folding fabric like this with a consistent size is so helpful to keep organized. Thanks for sharing. 👍

If you Live in a wet and humid climate DON'T USE FOAMBOARDS ask me how i know lol... The foamboards sweat against your fabric and give them mouldy spots etc ... i have gone back to comic book boards for small 1 metre.. larger fabric 2 metres and over I have gone for cardboard or the fabric bolts from fabric shops or ebay
