Very helpful. almost covered all the contents. thank you, mam.
I completed my PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Osmania University in India, while a friend of mine pursued his PhD at the same university in Taiwan, as mentioned by Dr. Kalpana Shankwar. They had to complete around 11 courses over two years, making the program more coursework-intensive than research-focused. In my opinion, Taiwan doesn't offer a better environment for research than India.Could you please provide me with Dr. Kalpana Shankwar's email address? We are in the same field, and I am currently looking for postdoctoral opportunities.I really enjoy your channel-keep up the great work!
Kindly connect her via LinkedIN. The link for which is given in the description 😊

Hi Anurag and Nirmal thanks for the nice episode. This was informative and will help many students to advance their career in UK.Even after Brexit I always look for which funders will cover UK. Kudos to PhD PDF Scholarship for hosting Dr. Anurag Roy, shedding light on current UK research scenarios. Essential for future PhD students.❤👍👍👏👏

99% of young reviewers just list references with some extractions without any significant critical reconsideration or new knowledge derived from this summary. Most of such "reviews" are just extended versions of Google.scholar/scopus search results. Pointless activity. Unfortunately, I often have to vote against such manuscripts. Tons of them.
It is the best country to find very honest and humble people.

Do DST release SRF fellowship immediately after 2 years ? Or they deduct some amount of fellowship in you give your enhancement after 2 years ....? Many cases of iit Kharagpurv
DST provides annual release in advance for project, including human resource cost. Subsequent releases are made following receipts of technical progress reports and accounts for another annual or remaining period. (Response from Prof. Varshney)
@@phd_pdfscholarship So in case one candidate presents his enhancement report late by 1 month does he / she gets a deducted stipend that was about to increase? Also can you please suggest me the concerned person in DST who can guide on this matter as alot of time institute doesn not provide clarity on why the enhanced SRF stipend was deducted
@@tanmoybag872 In case of delayed submission of documents, next release will be effected. However, no deduction would be made on that account. Please note DST doesn't monitor attendance and goes by the documents given by Institute. Concerned DST officer is the person who is issuing DST grant letter.
@@phd_pdfscholarship do DST release contingency grant for PhD scholars ?
There are hundreds of direct PhDs after BTECH from IITs nits are struggling for survival teaching just because they don't have been given any MTECH degree so I request pls stop such programs or order these institutions to award a MTECH degree also after the completion of course work
I agree pvt college is not upto the mark but what about the MTECH and PhDs from iits and nits why they are struggling for survival. And in the pvt college also it raises questions on aicte and UGC
One more serious problem is the direct PhD program after BTECH because they lose huge API in the teaching recruitment
There are many pluses and minuses of short cuts. For example, do you consider AMIE or DOEACC graduates equivalent to BTech from IIT. UPSC does. Similarly, whether integrated MTech and B.Tech + M Tech. in select systems, including IITs, you have such options of going to Doctoral program, immediately after completion of graduation with good score. In university systems, following UGC guidelines, one loses grade in API. We need to understand pros and cons of every course, and also what it makes you eligible for and should not crib on what you are missing about.
How can DST motivate for research and cutting edge technology learning if PhDs from top Indian institutes with MHRD fellowship are struggling for their survival and State colleges are recruiting MTECH candidates who were interested in teaching and research.. pls launch a Central recruitment portal to hire PhDs in higher education
PhD should not be considered as license to job. PhD gives you certain skill sets, one must be proud of. Market dynamics are different. Several institutions, including those you had mentioned in your question, are not concerned about skill set one has got, but who can meet their requirements at affordable (lowest to them) prize. Besides, them, there are number of Academic Institutes, which have set up basic qualifications, eligible for recruitment. I would also suggest that after PhD, one must not restrict choices limited to academics and Research. There are many more fields, including your own start up, industry, copyright/patent professional etc. (Response from Prof. Varshney)
Sir when will Dr. S Radhakrishnan pdf results be declared?? It's more than a year now
It is by UGC. One may check from them
