This place is amazing!!
So glad you liked it, amigo! It really is a fantastic botanical gardens and I need to go back more often. Loved their Halloween overlay so much!
Where is a good place to park?
Dire wolf's are extinction.
Bringing mammoth back will not end badly for people, remember people killed them to extinction and if we bring them back to life then poachers and sportsmen will just kill them to extinction again.
Davis Jose Thomas Sharon Young Karen
Halloween can't come soon enough! I'm over the summer 😂 great video
It is hot as heck today and I couldn't agree more; enough summer already. 😆 So glad you enjoyed this video; thank you!
We are going on 9/12 and I'm so excited. I'm going with my daughter and son-in-law who go every year but this will be my 1st time!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!
Visitaremos Batton Rouge en Octubre y necesitaba visitar esta tienda!
What’s your favorite event?
My apologies for the delayed reply. I am no expert on these kinds of conventions and events, but Midsummer Scream is easily my favorite, for so many reasons!
Wow the Boulet Brother booth looks great
Agreed!
The “adopt don’t shop” kitty booth was too too cute and made me miss my tux. That tortie was adorable! Love your spooky convention uploads! 🧡🎃🖤🐦⬛
But wouldn't you want to rescue the cats stuck in the pet store too?? Pretty sure they aren't happy being there. It's important to adopt anywhere to give an animal a better life
Thank you so much for the kind words and I agree, the Black Cat Lounge is one of the top highlights of the show!
The "Who you gonna kill" is cool, but Freddy should be on that shirt, not Ghost face. The first Scream came out December of 96. Texas Chainsaw Massacre came out in 74, Halloween was in 78, Friday the 13th was 80, and Nightmare of Elm Street 84. Scream does not fit with those guys.
Excellent observation! Plus I am much more of a Nightmare guy than a Scream guy (need to see the last three...)
Very cool
Lots of people wearing black!
Hahahah, it's the color that goes with everything... including horror! ;)
Thanks for showing us all these sites! Also spotted The Grim Life collective there!
Thank you for watching and replying! Yes, Grimm Life Collective is mandatory for this kind of event!
13:14 can u tell us the name of this awesome booth
I am almost positive that is the Asylum Zone! www.asylumzone.com/
I enjoyed how you slowly passed by and usually stopped long enough to inspect each physical exhibit while recording, Most TH-cam creators waste their & viewers time by rushing through and passing by the great displays while only stopping for a split second at what they may find as interesting. The fumes from the asphalt must consist of some sort of laughing or giggle gas, as you seem to giggle while speaking & at the end of nearly ever sentence or observation you speak about, its kind of a nervous giggle or laugh though, Did you aspire to be a comedian in your formative years? I watched a video documenting homeless plight of people in LA and the video creator had the same habit of constant giggling which made the video seem insidious, like he has no empathy & was mocking the people with a sick sense of humor about their unfortunate living situations. anyway nice recording of a very interesting place in LA.
I am so sorry for the delayed reply! Thank you so much for your very kind words! I am so glad you enjoyed this particular video. I love this amazing natural resource so much. And yes, I do tend to laugh a lot. 😂 And while I do enjoy making other people laugh, I would never have the bravery to be a comedian. I admire anyone who can do stand-up, gives me the hives to even think about trying. 🤪 Thanks again!
Thank you for really taking your time to showcase the vendors and show other events at the show. i got a chance to take more in, appreciate you! great job
Thank you so much, really glad to hear you enjoyed the look around!
Great video sir. Thank you very much for showing us around. And I agree with you, Identity is a really good film and deserved to do much better at the box office. I was one of the few who saw it at the cinema more than 20 years ago. Can’t believe it’s been that long! I just discovered your channel and I am now subscribed. Keep up the fantastic work! 👍🏻
Thank you so much for the very kind words and for subscribing! That means a ton to me. And man, it is always great to hear from a fellow "Identity" fan, quite jealous you got to see it in the theater; I only discovered it after its original release on DVD. (20 years, yikes...) That ending, still one of my all-time favorites. ;) Thanks again!
Hey, I was there Saturday and Sunday. I didn't see you, but it was so popular! So busy!
LOL, so sorry I missed you! Turns out a few people I knew were there and we never crossed paths! It was a happening scene!
Shoreline village use to house a very famous Charles I.D. Looff carousel in the 80's originally built by Looff in 1905. But the owner Marianne Stevens who leased it to Long Beach didn't like the way it was being maintained and sold it back to the city of San Francisco in 1991 where it had formally operated at SF Playland at the beach from 1913-1972
My apologies for the very delayed reply; thank you so much for this cool historical information! I had no idea.
The Last Stop At Yuma County was filmed here, highly recommend checking that movie out!
Nice, thanks for the recommendation! I just found the trailer at Amazon Prime, looks like a lot of the movie was filmed there, very cool! I am also seeing the location make a quick appearance in a new Ford ad on Hulu.
I remember playing in an officer Big Mac tower when I was a little girl
Hahah, that is awesome! I know I used to have one of those playlands near me as a kid, but I don't recall spending time there. Too long ago. 😜
@@robertccoker there's a picture of me in my photo album from when I was six years old in the officer Big Mac tower at a McDonald's playground in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Have humans ever fallen into the pit?
Interesting question! There was never any mention of people falling in at the museum, but over the course of history, I would imagine that yes, some poor folks may have gotten stuck.
Yes there has been a skeleton of a woman 10.000 years old that was found in there. Do the research on line its there.
Looks awesome Bob! Hope you are enjoying your trip
Thanks, Parker! I hope you are doing well!

Where did you find that fallen tree trail was it close to that broken bridge we were just there look for that tree about an hour lol never found it.. maybe the river took it since this was three years ago :)
Ha, sorry to have sent you on a wild goose chase! I have to believe that some of the rains we've had over the last few years would have completely changed that marshy area. Also sorry to hear that bridge is still not crossable, but this is a helpful update!
I’m also a huge Godzilla fan myself 😁👍
Awesome; always great to hear from a fellow kaiju devotee! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
Good job my friend . The MASH site looks as far from war as is possible .The natural beauty of the park is very special indeed ,thankyou kindly . I am 6000 miles away in Scotland but because of your fabulous footage ,i feel right next to the infamous place of work . I bet you could feel the memories of the show whilst you were there . Imagination and imagery. Best wishes to you as i have only just discovered your work ,but shall follow more .
Thank you so much for your very kind words! This is one of the things I love about the Internet: someone from Scotland can watch something I was able to experience. That still blows my mind. And you are so right; all the many, many hours of watching that show came flooding back, walking around an environment I had seen so many times. It was an amazing day. Thanks again!
Awesome video, I love aviation museums there really cool, a nice place to learn about the mighty mechanics that fly through the skies and the people that built them 😁👍
Thank you so much! I agree; museums are generally fantastic, but aviation museums are among my favorites. Planes will never stop being fascinating to me, all forms of mechanical travel, honestly.
Such a cool place with the Art Deco diner and Googie sign!
It really is! The art direction all around is so good.
But the earth is only 6000 years old, some Christian dude told me. 😂😂😂
And then he continues telling me that the earth is flat. 😂
Is there any ways to break into the cave secretly so you can respectfully get closer
My friend in Dallas was into roller coaster look like the actor that played Tootsies or Kramer VS Kramer ..😮can't remember his name ...pm
Looks like a film location for grapes of wrath
I believe the Gerstlauer model at 9:27 is similar if not the same as the two coasters currently at the American Dream mall in NJ!
I think you are right! Good eye!
Thanks for showing us around! Much appreciated for people like me who couldn't be there themselves!
Unbelievable! Are most of those coasters over seas? They seem to have a lot of wicked, crazy ones:) I gotta go!! So nice watching you… like a mini visit!
How much is the boat ride ?
Hate to tell you but the parent trap scene he was telling you about wasn't filmed in lake arrowhead. It was filmed in Lake Gregory in Crestline.
Thank you for the fact check!
I did love that booth. It would look great in our diner.
Ray and I spent several days on RT 66. I wish we weren’t towing a travel trailer, it would have made it much easier to pull over and check stuff out! Maybe we’ll go again with just a car:) BTW…was that a Big Boy inspired tee shirt you were wearing?❤
Yes, that is a Big Boy/Beetlejuice mash-up/homage! Got it at the LA county fair. I hope you are staying cool!
Hey Robert, looking forward to the Season Pass I-80 tour and your visit to Kennywood! I'm a ride operator on the Racer so I hope you guys can come by and say hi!!
Hello and thanks so much for getting in touch! We will be at kennywood Thurs and The Racer is one of several can’t-miss attractions. We will definitely look for you! So excited to be back at our favorite traditional amusement park!
Great video! Well done. ❤
Thanks so much, Gail! You are so kind!
So cool!
Thanks so much, Sandy! I'd love to take you both there the next time you are in town.
Great video Robert. I agree about HBO's Westworld, loved the first season, but only watched the first 3 episodes of season 2. Thanks for filming these things I wouldn't get to see from here in Florida.
Thanks, as always, amigo! This place is another one I'd happily take you and Deanna through next time you're in town.
Nice video 👍😎
Thank you!!
Loved it!
Thanks again; you're the best!
Awesome Bob!
Thank you so much Gail!
What a great video you did , love the views, river and calmness , I really like the sounds of nature., Thanks for sharing this great video you did.
Thank you so much for the very kind words! I am so glad you enjoyed the peace and beauty of the place!
