A Lot of people online and on articles/Website say AI is. ot capable of good common sense reasoning and this makes me question a lot of things specifically the fact when i ask ai to evaluate something and to give me its opinion it says something reasonable and when i ask it what it used it says it used common sense so is me agreeing with ai a sign that i have bad common sense since “ai is not capable of good conmon sense reasoning”
Can you please ask Grace if it's cool that you share your meds with friends?
Neat, I was originally thinking it would be the sentiment of the words, not the emotional tone. Pretty neat!
This is incredible hahaha
You may think no one sees how cool this video is -- but we see you 👀
Ha! I don't know which version I like better. These are definitely my favorite commercials though- and not just because I'm in them (mostly).
This is brilliant, guys! I've already watched this like 20 times!
robert rexx, the angriest man, sent me a link to this video directly LMAO
5:51: Nice example of complexity in solving conversational ambiguity if using voice as the primary interface: "I scream; you scream; we all scream for ice cream."
Great insights, Anthony.
Thanks for making these short tip videos, its really helpful!
Isn’t ordering from doordash is much simpler? are you currently working with any restaurant who is implementing this?
How will this effect companies like Twilio?
We love Twilio! Here's Twilio's docs on integrating Gridspace: www.twilio.com/docs/voice/api/siprec
Two questions; 1. How is customer emotion determined, is it through generative AI or Gridspace's own model? 2. As agents often rely on their own notes for customer details like 'account number', 'invoice number', 'customer name' as examples, is the call automatically summarized in real-time, and if so, is the summarized information available to the agent for copy/paste throughout the interaction?
1) Gridspace builds all its own models. In this case emotion is extracted along with transcription and summarized via a specialized language model, 2) Live agent assist is a common use case of our product
Tech support needs tech support and customer care needs customer care 🙃 thanks for this Coop
Thank you for this!
Super informative. Thanks Anthony!
This is a bit unnerving, teaching AI to mimic a person seems like a bad idea.
i wonder what happens when he starts cussing? 70% of customers are AH.

Love these convos.. keep em coming Anthony
Do United Healthcare IVR...when I call there I'm usually red-faced trying to get past the IVR it is so stupid. I feel bad for the employees as I'm sure every caller is pissed off by the time they get an agent. I manage CC's for a living and that system is set up to irritate customers.
Folks deserve better tech!
aint no way you will put the genie back in the bottle 😂 nice metaphor tho
Your technology and its ability to really sound like a human is impressive. Two questions: 1) why didn't your bot have to let the caller know the call was being recorded - do you have a clever way to share that without taking the callers time? 2) what's your recommendation on letting customers know that they're speaking with a bot? Your tool sounds so life like I could see lots of people thinking they're talking to a human.
Michelle, excellent questions! 1) you're correct, if this system were deployed in production, you need to let caller know they are being recorded in many US states, and it's standard practice for all call centers (human or bot), 2) we generally recommend our users inform callers they are talking with a bot as a best practice. Often callers forget they are talking to a bot, but, no matter how realistic Grace is, it's best practice to inform callers they are speaking with a machine. The goal is to have the system be so good that they don't care (or even prefer to speak with a machine that affords them the same patience and anonymity as digital channels).
Stop simping AI
Seeing that y’all are older, I’m assuming you’ve had flips phones and know you gotta click the button more than once to get the letter you want, same with phones these days 😂😂
Another awesome sign that the market is Ripe.
Wow! When was this recorded? If recent, the market is ripe.
This was very well spoken, and easy to understood. Especially for someone who has no knowledge on algorithms. Thanks
no such thing as a good phone system
sooooo real sounding!!!!!!!!!
Wow, how many millions of jobs are about to be lost.
I'm not sure if the demonstration from 4:00 or so is representative of where the product was at that time, but it's amazing (it seems) how much inference speed has improved since then, after watching through the IAP 2024 set of courses. Cool! I'm going to do an MS in NLP starting this Fall, but will be excited to see if you're offering internships in the future :).

Great talk, Cooper! Perhaps my favorite of the series.

This series seems awesome! I have to run after 10 minutes, but what a great start to the series. Will return later, thanks for putting these online.

Hysterical and sad at same time 🙃
Is it a choice to say ALL-gorithms? Have we all been pronouncing it wrong? Just wondering. Very good talk, BTW.
Why would it ask about checkout date? You can check in any time you like, but you can never leave
Would like to see a bot that takes incoming calls and places outgoing calls to set appointments from online requests...
🎉 congrats I'm proud I helped you with the calls
