Are they both ground twice and have the same fat content?
The store bought us 90/10. And since we process our own meat I would say mine is close to 90/10. The question is what does the color of red meat tell you about it's nutritional makeup? Probably worth looking into. Along with the benefits of pasture raised animals. 80% of all meat bought in stores is raised in confinement
You can keep your pasture raised grass fed beef. Flavorless!! I’ll stick to my corn/grain fed beef
Just skipping threw this. You have very little knowledge of cattle. More cows are mean than bulls. You probably have never owned enough cows Total to need hay equipment. Fences keep them bull strong and pig tight and you won't have trouble. Your grass is to short to graze losing the insulation of a good cover.
Andrew thanks for the input. As I have stated in many videos I did not grow up on a farm so I'm learning as I go. And it is my experience with the animals I've had so far that bulls are more unpredictable. I follow successful people like Greg Judy and Gabe Brown to the best of my abilities. I have limited resources and am simply doing the best I can with what I have. Thanks for encouragement, I'm sure 10 years from now I'll have more knowledge and experiences to pass along
Also I could buy my hay. But I enjoy making hay and I like to know what's in my hay. And I keep the input / output cycle of nutrients on my farm.
@@crazydayshomestead9438 i like to bale it to but I bale other and bring their nutrients back home. The cost of upkeep and time even new equipment is more than most hay bill when having a small herd. The problem with the video is you not have the knowledge and tell others what they should do. I know Greg was in on the deal he did in Arizona. They seen my place there and I had them get ahold of him to get everything done right from the start
@Andrew-sanders thanks for your words of encouragement. I wonder if there are 12 ways of accomplishing the same goal which one is correct?
Sugar season is coming. Don’t forget to try the sap bags. Good videos. Keep it up.
Jack I hope you are doing well my friend. I make videos when I have time. I finally took 7 days off in a row to spend time with the boy and family doing some beaver trapping. Should have some videos of that coming soon
Keep up the good work!
I appreciate you Jon
And one toy down already! 🤣
Portage and main are real Pron to leak
What is the "New Package" called your referring to ?
I was searching for the follow up video on your boiler leak repair and rebuild etc. Did you ever post the outcome ? Thanks, great videos !
Husky verses Sthil... Sthil 660 and 880 are my choice and I have used both brands over the last 35 years.
It’s grease buildup, maybe an issue with slope as well. Drains don’t clog due to powdered soap.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll check the slope per foot and see where I'm at
Pods are the only way to go unless your machine is 15 years old or more. When they cut the water consumption they made detergents to use enzymes instead of bleach. The liquid dishwasher detergent gives very poor results. The dishwasher filters through 3 levels of filtration. Unless they have ruined their filtration out of ignorance. That could not go through the pump system. They were probably using a cheap brand, have an old machine, and have a cheap machine that doesn’t heat the water if the incoming water is not hot enough. This man is so misinformed it’s frustrating.
Yes that was an older machine
How hot is your water? My dishwasher is thirty uears old and was designed for powdered detergent. I use chlorinated powder detergent and have for years. My water is 144-150F. No problems.
Not sure but I'll check into it
How much sourdough do you make and wash down the drain from your hands and dishes?
Well we make sourdough about on e a month soo...
Hard grease, not powdered soap. I guaranty you that a drain guy that knows his stuff (like me) could clear that line. You need the right equipment to get the job done. Little 1/4" home store snakes won't do it. I have 5/8" cables and multiple heads to clear lines like what you have shown.
Yep that's sounds like it would do the job
I wipe grease off my dishes before they go into the dishwasher. I've been using gel dishwasher detergents (no pods) for years and my 25 year old Maytag dishwasher still cleans as well as it did when it was new. I also take the guts out once a year to clean the filters, etc. I'm one of those folks who would rather keep my appliances clean and running properly than replace them. We've become a throw-away society, unfortunately.
I do same have 21 yr old GE
You are correct and I do take the filters out and clean them a couple times a year
Looks like it has a bunch of grease in there also.
Thank you for the heads up on powder dishwashing detergent. We have been using a powder tablet that has a thing film over it. May start using the liquid pods. Looks like your nut is either not the right threads for the basket or it isn’t tall enough to accommodate the plastic seal to properly allow it to thread up on to the basket.
I'll check into that
Does this pipe have the correct slope?
Also note that the build up is concentrated at the top of the pipe as well. It Seems more like fats and oils are emulsifying in the pipe, because the drain pipe isn't allowing the grey water to fully drain out fast enough.
I'll check the slope
Stinky...
Goofy dogs😅
Cant think what exact keen boot i got but its similar with carbon toe. Same field of work lots of walking on concrete and they made a difference compared to others
Secure your chicken coop moron!
Yes!!! Congratulations. Can’t wait to hear how you run them!
Looks like there's a egg in her mouth
Cows are an awesome animal
ordered 4 pairs.... they all cramp my pinky toes. and i have a narrow foot
TRASH 🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️ I SAY !!!
Sorry I'm a jeep man ALLLL the way but the straight, 6, 4.0.....is one of the 2 best engines ever built !!!!! This engine is TRASH !!!!
Yes I agree, Jeep is stupid for not installing the 4.0 in more vehicles. They could even throw a small turbo on it for better performance.
Agreed, JKW grows very aggressively, is hard to kill, has a habit of coming back with a vengeance when you clear an area.
The UNITED STATES of AMERICA needs a lot of PRAYER.
Pig look good! Do they crap in a specific area only or all over the pen?
Pigs always have a designated toilet area. They are growing really well. Hope you are doing well my friend. You've been busy
I wonder how well the germination would be if you were to collect that seed and replant it
Oats will absolutely grow back if you till then in. The turkeys do a number on them
I don't like these oldschool ball couplers. I fitted my tractor with link catch hooks. Its much easier to hook up implement machinery.
Like my home Mechanic mate of mine would say "Safety (whilst clearing throat) 4th"
I’m confident the front is fine, but putting the lift arms on a rear wheel bearing to lift the thing? You’d better hope that bad boy doesn’t shift a half an inch either direction so those things don’t spin on you. Otherwise looks okay but I’d no doubt change the placement of those rear pads
"EARTHQUAKE"😮😮😮
Yeah at least a half inch of contact should do
By any chance are you a rocket scientist? 😮
That sucks. Will the NRCS pay to fix everything? If so, how long before they come back out? Seems like a bridge crossing over creeks would be more practical and last longer.
NRCS will not pay for anything
Well, it looks like you got 'er all figured out there Big Dog... Pitter patter, let's get at 'er.
That’s a Texas sized 10-4 good buddy
Safety is just a matter of perception...lol
Freaking awesome
The turkeys were eating the green oats last fall,, now they're getting the grain
Are you just starting out?
Yes I have only had beef cows the last 3 years. And I only started making hay last year
It's called a friction disc around $20 to 40. Get new bolts. You can get everything from new Holland. Ford balers are just renamed get Holland
Thanks for the info. I did not know that. I just bought a New Holland hay bone 467 in pretty good shape. $1200.00 couldn't pass it up. Any idea of a resource for a parts manual on it?
You guys remind me of the blind leading the blind 🙉
Ya gotta learn somehow
You just ruined the thread on the shaft.
Hmm, chase the threads, easy as shift.
I checked the thread on the shaft and it is perfectly intact. So we're good there
Go buy JD you will look for parts to that ford after
I'm looking for a newer bailer. Just haven't found one yet
Don't know if turtles have ears
I wish we were neighbors my friend. We would have a lot of fun.
