    How did you do that last lord glitch?

      There are a few different methods to do it, but they all involve getting out of bounds and then baiting Last Lord into the void, which then kills them. In this run, we used the hookshot to clip through a wall and get out of bounds. If a wall is thin enough, and there is something to hookshot next to it (in this case we use Last Lord), you can clip through the wall with the right angle. After that, we roll into the laser attack when it's above the void, which causes Last Lord to jump to the location we got hit. After a short wait, Last Lord falls into the void and immediately dies

      By dodge rolling. We use the invincibility frames on the roll to dodge her attacks. In glitched runs, we also use a glitch called autoslash, which automatically attacks when you roll, hence why it sounds like I'm constantly attacking her

      @@evergloomy Interesting. For the record, I not only playing on the latest version of Death's door, but also ply on console and not speedrunning. In fact, I'm mainly just completing the story of the game again, (including post game content), and mainly looking up speedruns for some tips on bosses. Other than that, nice speedrun! Also I might do the umbrella achievement when I create another save file.

      I'm not exactly sure who discovered it, I'm afraid. The collision of the wall isn't accurate to its model, and there is a gap at the back of the arena where there is no water hazard, so we can drop down there onto some out of bounds ground below the water level, then fight Frog King from below, since their hitbox extends down far enough It's very useful; it makes the fight a lot safer and a little bit faster

      Thank you :) Of course; the glitch is called Camlock, and it locks the camera in place, allowing us to move the crow without moving the camera. This is very useful for sequence breaking and taking shortcuts through areas To induce a camlock, you need to first need to be holding the 'Aim' binding. Then switch your active spell and release aim on the same frame. If the crow's animation gets locked in aim animation, the camlock was successful. If failed, it's very quick to try again. Camlock can be cancelled simply by pressing aim again, which will resync the camera to the player's position Lots of things in the game, most notably a lot of walls, are loaded in based on the camera's position. By locking the camera in a position that causes a wall to unload, we can do some blind movement to move the crow past where the wall would have been. We have setups for blind movement and use various cues to inform us on where we currently are Hope that's explains it a bit! Let me know if you have anymore questions :)

      Camlock was discovered by a glitch hunter and speedrunner named wijo a little over a year ago. Since then, we've been able to refine setups and utilise it in various locations GGs on the platinum! :D

      There is a glitch known as an 'Aerial Roll Cancel', often abbreviated to 'ARC', which is commonly used throughout the run. There are various variants of it, however they all work under the same mechanic of a buffered roll occurring concurrently with a downslash (the airborne plunge attack). The one used in this particular trick is a 'Roll Aerial Roll Cancel' (RARC) ARCs are complicated, and RARCs are even more so. For a detailed explanation of how (R)ARCs work, I recommend this video by wijo: th-cam.com/video/Tfn6Wo9NPMk/w-d-xo.html Here's a relatively concise explanation of the trick in question, that we call 'Earlier Flame': First, we stand near the ledge against the railing and set up a Roll Pre-Buffer (RP); this lets us store a buffered roll. To obtain an RP, during an attack animation, we input roll and start holding the heavy/strong attack input. There is some RNG (and FPS dependency) in whether the RP will be successful. If the crow immediately starts charging a heavy attack after the initial attack animation ends, the RP was a success. If the crow rolls instead, it failed, but can be attempted again rather quickly After getting an RP, we roll off the ledge into the railing. There is a very small lip on the outer railing that is too small to stand on, but when rolled into gives us a tiny bit of height. This is important, since we want to land on the railing post, which is higher that ground level After hitting the lip, with reasonably precise timing, we input a downslash (the airborne plunge attack). Downslashes will cancel whatever action you are currently performing, in this instance, a roll. However, they only cancel the current action and will bump buffered actions forward, causing them to occur during the downslash's startup. This results in the initial roll being cancelled, allowing the buffered roll we stored during the RP to now occur We now have a roll happening at the same time as a downslash. During the downslash startup, there is a period where gravity doesn't exist. It is during this time that the buffered roll occurs, letting us roll through the air without loosing any height, before the downslash plunges us downwards. Providing the setup and timing were correct, you can land on the post of the railing and roll past the gate at the top This specific trick is quite precise, in terms of timing and position, and requires a specific setup to achieve. It is probably the single most complicated trick we currently have in the speedrun, and my explanation does not do it full justice That being said, I hope it helps you understand it better.       It's a glitch we call 'Zoomies' Most weapon attacks in the game give you a burst of velocity. By pausing and equipping a weapon during this moment of velocity, you can lock your velocity, causing the crow to run in that direction indefinitely Rogue Daggers are the fastest and most versatile option for Zoomies, so we primarily use them for movement in all glitched runs There is a bit more nuance to Zoomies than I've explained here, but if you'd like a more thorough explanation, I recommend this video by wijo: th-cam.com/video/qXwnJKVF_MA/w-d-xo.html
