Stay out for 5 or 6 weeks, you will get longer runs and the weekends where you can make money.Dont focus over home time. Its an all in lifestyle. The company will appreciate the dedication leading to better runs. Before you know it your makin it!
Are u still at hirshbach? I got some questions on there pay n home time
How much u get paid is it good?
Do you get maintenance escrow back when you leave on all remaining savings
Got permit
Looking for a trucking school that does a Ua not a hair test
Then you might as well look for another line of work. Starting at the end of 2024, if you are caught with anything in your system, you will lose your cdl.
@@joemendoza2292 I didn't say that I was looking to have things in my system. Lol but I guess we read what we want to read. Have a good one
are you lease with them? i'm looking more to be company. how's it been for you just curious
I quit them
Hey i was looking into getting into Hirschbach i have orientation July 8th doing their lease. Is it cool if i can reach out to you somewhere about it
It’s not worth it I quit
@@Travisthegamer-tf6ky yikes was the pay trash after a few weeks ?
Start fasting bro
I’m starting in a couple weeks. Any hints, tips, suggestions, u can pass on. What are the costs they don’t tell u about and what about health insurance
I quit
Oh man, i missed that video. Why did u quit?
If you don’t mind answering. What’s a lease opps average per month after expenses at the company…
great message 🤝
Is that an inward facing camera and if so do they strictly monitor you? Can you do hands free phone calls at least?
It is inwards facing yes you can do hands free calling. It only starts recording when it is triggered
Video froze at 0:28.
How has it been going? Looking again to go OTR 😢. Looking at reviews from many companies
Has not been bad. Have great weeks and okay weeks
Do you get to keep the truck when you finish your payments?
Yes
So how is the money? Is there money to be made?
Yes
@@Travisthegamer-tf6ky how u like it there? Can I make $2000 to $3000
What did you do on the road test?
I'm with JoyRide Logistics, making $1,635 gross salary company driver weekly pay. I started on 1/22/2024 with JoyRide dry van company over the road truck driver. Take in bank $1,303.97 weekly net pay. Plus, I get $575 monthly safe driving bonus consistently. Drive a dedicated route with dry van easy safe lane from Goodyear AZ to Lamirada, CA. Then, I pick up an Amazon load back to Phoenix AZ. Loads are lightweight with only a dirt truck parking lot in Phoenix Arizona. They are empty cans of Monster energy drinks or Sprite. Plus, I drive the lower west coast from Goodyear Arizona to Lamirada, California, where driving all year is safe away from the bad weather potential to avoid accidents and traffic jams! Truck I'm driving is a Freightliner Cascadia white color 2022 with 157,767 low miles with medium-sized Whirlpool refrigerator, APU, and TV mount, governed at 74 mph automatic transmission. I'm saving $1k a week to buy my own truck. I'm thinking of working at JoyRide for the next 2 years until I get my own truck.
Do you know of a school that just does a ua test not hair?
Lp or no
What’s school was that u said
Yes it was they Roehl transport
Pet Policy ?
You can bring your furry friends.
If during orientation i fail the hair follicle test but pass the urinalysis, will i get the job?
No
Don’t do drugs wont have to worry 😂
Good luck with the facing camera inside your cab.
Thanks!
Do you have to have an llc before coming to hirschbach to do lease purchase??
No I did jot
Did y’all have to do a blindside back?
For the test out?
@@Travisthegamer-tf6ky yeah
How long does orientation last??
Mine was around a week ago
Do you carry the truck home with you when you get home time too?
Yes it goes home with me
@Travisthegamer-tf6ky ok thank you
Hey brother I’m going on orientation on Wednesday. How do you like it so far?
So you like the facing camera.
Doesn’t bother me
Do you get to put your name on the truck?
Yes
that was very uninformative.
Thank you make sure you like
Do you need to open a business account at the bank with the LLC?
No
Did Hirschbach make you retake a physical during orientation?
No
@@Travisthegamer-tf6ky you making decent money so far?
Making the most money I ever have
@@Travisthegamer-tf6kytell us more? i'm about to do roehl first. should i join hirsch after my year?
That’s all up to you I drive a lot on night shift
Don't worry about the camera, worry about the hair follicle testing company selling your DNA
It’s okay they can have it I have had it for a while now lol
Background policy?
Yes
What is it, do you know?
@@dillannorman9690 just a normal one for any transport job
Im at jb hunt atm. They dont pay you anything for droping and picking up only miles. Its all short miles to the longest run is marquette mi 394 miles. Its semi local im home every other day so thats really the only perk.
Can you take as much time as you want off?
That’s a tricky question
i miss driving for them
It’s pretty nice
That must have been a country block. Cause it sure wasn't a city block
For sure.
Inbound facing cameras I don't work for companies that spy on you
The way I look at it. If I am doing my job correctly, you have nothing to worry about.
I agree with you . Ive been hauling produce for 25 years accident free , i would never work for someone that uses driver facing cameras . There looking for a way to fire you quickly and or spy on you . Sadly alot of new drivers put up with it
It’s the way of the future, I’ve been in the game 37 years, nobody likes cameras, but as long as you are pulling their trailers and flying the company name on that truck, you agree to driver facing cameras.
@@Travisthegamer-tf6kyJust wait until you get caught picking your nose or scratching your nuts on camera.
@@Bryan-lg3fn No there not looking for a way to fire you. You realize how costly that is for a trucking company
Can you do a video going over a average week showing fix cost and mileage pay I know I was told it was a sliding scale and truck payment and total cost of the truck
Are you leasing it ?
Yes, I am
Never ever lease a truck through a company.
It works pretty well for me
They don’t pay for shutdown during inclement weather you’ll just take a loss, but there’s other mega carriers that do and the only thing nice about HIRSCHBACH is the equipment everything else is straight BS they don’t stand out from the rest. They all the same on that industry. Standard BS been here a year. On my way out soon. It sucks. Reefer sucks love trucking but I hate reefer to all hell don’t like the early mornings appointments all the 0300 and 0200 that’s one of the things wrong with this industry there’s no unity among truckers no union we don’t have a voice why are we doing all this over night driving as reefer drivers for no incentive pay but meanwhile these carrier owners get to live there best life with all there wealth Flat bed is the path I’m going I don’t want anything to do with delivering food anymore it’s too much effort too many steps and not enough pay
I have enjoyed my time here. I’m making great money have a great driver leader I stay running.
Driver leaders don't freight keyboards. You only stay running because you choose too by the opportunity afforded. When that changes you will learn first-hand what its like to be "strapped to a loss." Hirschbach made the huge mistake of buying other equities like Lessor and John Christner. The drivers of Hirschbach now feed back the monetary payout on those buyouts and quite frankly it is disgusting. The cost cutting measures being administered by a-holes getting schmidt done and the departments involved are nothing more than a small chrome handle. We all "make money" but the money we make is at a total loss.
There is union in trucking just not the jobs you are looking at. The pro’s to union, if it’s a strong union they will back you up, a weak one, you will only see them every month with their hand out looking for your monthly dues. Non union companies like example LTL Freight like ie: FedEx, Old Dominion or Estes pay really well per hour and by the mile but if you screw up or are a trouble maker you’ve got no union to help you.
I make around $2500 a week
@@Travisthegamer-tf6kywhat do you gross around a week and I know they show .99 per gallon fuel but do you get the fuel surcharge at all
Im thinking of employment with them whats the pay like and bullshit of the job
They could honestly pay better bro. Freight is very inconsistent which results in pay ranging from 1200 one week to 300 the next
I am thinking about driving with this company. I'm looking forward to hear more about you journey with them. Thank you for sharing
You should!
Do you make more money driving reefer?
Never drive reefer for them
I start with the GYCDL program Monday, thanks for the info. Do you know if they let you get your CDL with manual endorsement?
Not that I know of
