One technique I really love for movement is using 2 slightly different types of distortion (like 1 digital, 1 analogue emulation), then assigning LFOs to both wet mixes in different directions, at the same speed, so you get the gradual movement between distortion styles whilst keeping the character of the sound. Great video!

Great video man! I’ve never thought about automating the distortion filter!! Loved how it sounded with the 8th notes at the end too 😵
Thank you 🙏 there's definitely some magic you can pull off with 1/8 notes and automating distortion (both the mix and the filter). You can get some crunchy stuff!
