I wish this wasn't true, but these osteotomy surgeries ruin people's health and that of all the other people who have them done. The bone where they sawed afterwards doesn't stick properly anymore, it gets weak and it will slide little by little and sink inwards with time. I believe that a bone scar is left or for some other reason I don't know. Maybe it is left with little room to regenerate and becomes weak or another reason. It is not the same as a normal fracture where afterwards the bone becomes normal again. When you sawed it, or break it with a chisel, in this case it is different. The bone is left with a problem afterwards. Then the person gets all twisted because of this, as the bone sinks, it ends up twisting or sinks all the other bones of the body. If they do it in the lower limbs. But everywhere, it ends up disturbing people. Besides that, the nerves around where they do this also sink and leave their original place, and then the person starts to feel everything altered and only starts to feel bad things afterwards. Both in the external environment and in the body itself because of this. This surgery is a mistake in medicine, just as there are mistakes in any other profession. I don't know how it hasn't been forbidden until today, with so many people getting bad afterwards, I'm pretty sure all of them. It doesn't matter if it is done on the nose, leg, foot, heel, people end up getting bad the same way. I hope this comment helps. Take great care, health is very precious. how can I speak with this Doctor. My CT scans have been indicating AVN since 2017 a more.recent MRI indicates this more progression indicating now changes in the femoral head. but all my doctor's want to do is keep pumping steroids in me to control arthritis and degenerative disc and joint disease. already with multiple cervical fusions with cages at c4-c5-c6 along with degenerative disc's throughout my whole spine. please reach out im am 36yr old male with signs of this AVN since back in 2017, factors for cause are unknown as the steroid use a trauma or a Vascular problem I have. baseline for my heart rate without my propranolol is around 112bpm with high blood pressure, also.toe end disease and COPD since 2003. I need help! early alcohol use 2003-20011 sober since, history of smoking, trauma and steroid use. date of birth 6-4-85

Hello.i came across this today 30 Nov 2021.i am 58 now had congenital bilaterally dislocated hips..nothing at all was done as a child.as a teenager i was told too young for replacements .maybe at 40?? at 40 i visited more specialist.told way too dangerous to start exploring now surgery refused on grounds of contra indications.muscle/nerve damage poss paralysis due to hips being well settled but totally out.i have wished my life away waiting for the day i might look like a normal attractive woman who could wear tight jeans...hate myself .when i was younger i always hoped technology would advance enough to help me....Terri UK.

Dr. Zaltz is an AMAZING surgeon. He performed periacetabular osteotomy on both of my hips & he did an incredible job. I've had zero pain since they were done and I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon. He doesn't sugar coat anything and will let you know exactly what you're in for as far as the surgery and the recovery.
