@Cjmodels-fz3vk I remember reading about it in the macvsog books John plaster wrote. He would open the cockpit window, and shoot out of it with his rifle lol. Always was a neat looking plane.

Yeah sprue glue ok I used it loads over the years but haven't for a while now found other ways to prevent it from happening 😀

I do yes primmer yes I did use vallejo but now moved to Mr surfacer 1500 the black buff it use my paints I do use vallejo there buff it again then use gloss varnish for decals then matt or satin depends on what I'm building

@Cjmodels-fz3vk krylon matte finish in a rattle can works nice, only asked because I watched your plane videos and paint seemed chunky in some spots I dunno maybe it's just me. Do you have a air brush? I use to use tamiya but army painter, and valejo have gotten alot better over the years. Sometimes us8ng a matte finish before primer especially if your using a can primer helps the first coat go on smooth. They make a spray paint called chalk board paint, I use it to prime models all the time now its nice and flat

@IbnDante yeah some have done I've heard of them I actually used them paints on a tractor I done they nice to spray an I use a kk moon airbrush I have the awata but use this cheap one does exactly the same tamiya I find dry in the needle too quick an find spend most of the time cleaning my airbrush in between painting but love vallejo I like to hand paint with army paints an Citadel

Always glue parts together first as a it stops any paint clogging up the holes so prevents fir issues an b there's no glue marks on the fresh paint just tye way I build my models lol

Thank you buddy much appreciated awww are you I love the harrier what kit are you building is it tye same one? An yes I'm sure it will look great mate have to share some pics I'm still practicing an learning I've messed a few kits up in the process 😆

@Cjmodels-fz3vk my harrier is an Airfix 1/72 Harrier GR9, im almost finished building, i will have to paint it but i accidentally got some glue leaked over the fuselaje and its visible if the light reflects it, hope the paint covers the glue well so it looks unnoticed

@guillemako aww yess is it a good kit I'm doing the airfix 48 too slight modification to it few fit issues but not a bad kit what type of glue is it

@@Cjmodels-fz3vk i also found a few issues with the pieces, i used cyanocrylate glue to repair a broken piece, i tried everything to try taking the glue off, even acetone nail polish but it didnt work. I was able to cut most of it, but i hope when i paint it hopefully wont look bad

@guillemako have you tried tamiya extra thin to melt it down then said it sound be OK for paint then 😆
