The only "Rosa' that I have is Montagave Blanco Heritage and I haven't tried it yet. Thank you for the review ! I just might try this one. Yep, Cazcanes is pricey

What kind of glass do you use?
Isn’t luchador rested and aged in wine barrels as well? Atleast the repo and añejo. How is it different? Do you know
Luchador barrels are ex-white wine - I have a bottle of the repo. A very 'green grape' or almost sour cherry note. Considering other Rosa blancos and Rosa Repos are in the $80 to 120 range, I found Luchador Repo at $45. Decent for something unique.
@@AD24873 I got me a couple bottles of the luchador repo and añejo. Añejo was ok but I thought the repo was really good. The best thing is that you can find them at the grocery outlet store for $30(repo) and $40(añejo)
Both Rosa’s are to sweet for me.

Nice video. They call the classical music the "Mozart Method"! I'm not sure if it helps in anyway but in all of my samples from NOM 1414 I haven't found a bottle that it hurt. 👌🏼 This has been on my wishlist for a minute. I think I may pick one up this weekend.
It’s time to make that wish. One true ! lol . Good tequila , but personally I liked the newer batch over the older one. Let me know what you think when you do try , salud 🥂.

I got a bottle from Sip Tequila and haven’t tried it yet. You had me at chipotle. Can’t wait to try it. Volans is my favorite given the minerality more than others. Love your content!

I just tried their reposado , it’s quite good in my opinion. There’s an añejo coming soon.

What kinda of wood are you using ?
I’ve tried American White Oak, French Oak and Cherry, all from Beyond Barrels. Great product & Chris is a big help to anyone who ask’s 👍

I found this really benefits from opening up & aerating in the glass for a fair amount of time. I also found this to be the case with the regular blanco. I love Mijenta, it just needs time to aerate.

I agree 100% , Palo verde es better to me , for the brix percentage I would of thought sabino to be sweeter and a little more complex for 40 brix, but palo verde was sweeter naturally and better sipper at 35 brix , both are still really good high proof blancos
I’m gonna miss that Palo Verde , it’s perhaps the best out of all the Lágrimas del Valle.
True on Cascanes $$. I have some and they're pretty good, but not in my top 10. I haven't done any blind tastings, but I guess I will here pretty soon. Thank you for the always honest review Salud !

I’m not surprised. El Tequileno for high proof is nice. Have unopened #9 Blanco, sounds like another stave project. Have Mijenta coming tomorrow, very excited, actually hoping better than Cas 48 (have two in aging process). Well done, very interesting and good palette 👍

@@tequilaforeverforevertequi4647 Mijenta is more complex and tropical fruit forward than citrus character of El Tequileno (more bite/heat). For aging might have to use French Oak for Mijenta adding to richness and complexity while American White Oak to smooth out Citrus bomb, making it more refreshing. Salud 🥂
Tahona Wheel stoppers came from Ukraine, that’s why El Tesoro couldn’t get anymore. Not sure where they’re sourcing them now that they’ve returned.
I recently seen some of the newer batches and yes they have returned.
Good review, i love this one for that smoke note on the nose and palate. Arette is still under the radar i think. Their Artesanal Repo is fantastic.

Absolutely love Tapatio Excelencia, El Tesoro Paradiso, and Cascahuin 11 brix for my top shelf tequilas.
Tapatio excelencia is on the top of my list , along with Siete Leguas de Antaño and many more.
I bought two bottles with sole purpose of wood aging, so only had partial sip to make room for stave. Was amazed how smooth (low burn) for me with wonderful cooked agave, mint, cinnamon and anise to balance out sweetness. Clean, still strength canvas my wood aging projects, for that I’d score it 89. As always enjoy your honesty and bringing your unbiased point of view, Salud 🥂

I’ll grab a quick pour after 14 days on American White Oak. I can’t read 😂 so didn’t catch they clearly stated they Tony rested it on oak which is why the burn is much lower than most Still Strengths, I’ve tried. Won me over right away. Really excellent review, it’s not super complex, however it is super agave forward. Few moments later …….. Spearmint with alcohol fumes invading nostrils. Superb tears on glass and joy down my cheeks, this is going to be phenomenal. Velvety agave sweet then finishes dry, like Chardonnay. Just extra rested American Oak now, will see in a couple months. Very excited. Buying more 👍
Nice review. On the fence about this. Not a huge red wine fan. I did like the El Mayor Rosado Reposado, which is less than half the cost of Cazcanes Rosa Blanco. I like Cazcanes, but the price point of around $110 post-tax in my area & the fact I'm not a big fan of red wine makes it iffy for me. I also can get their regular reposado & even añejo, which I do tend to like, for less (though all their products are pushing the upper price limits for me). Keep up the great reviews!
Cazcanes tequila is a good brand , but it’s nothing special . I really liked their Rosa blanco, their añejo is ok but very overpriced just like their other products . Thank you for your feedback and for watching, 🥂

I’ve had that one on my list. It’s overpriced in my area I’m looking forward to trying it if I find it for a reasonable price.
I haven’t tried the anejo but the XA is fantastic. That was the first Volans I tried. I’ll be looking for any Volans I can find from now on. I love the minerality.
I like all of their products, what I can say is that their añejo is it’s completely different but great !

Great videos. My perspective after having spent years chasing and accumulating whiskies and tequilas is this - the chase is fun and it’s great to taste everything but in the end I got burned out and forgot about what I loved in the bottles in the first place. And I started comparing all of the bottles I had and that leads to less enjoyment as well. Now I try to pour myself something and sit and enjoy it for what it is.
I agree , you get to a point where you’re never satisfied , all you want to do is continue to search for new products.
Sieta Legus Decadas, I love this, its in my top 3 blancos, so good i bought a case, BUT only have 2 bottles left LOL

If I could only have 1 for the rest of my life, I'd have to say Pasote XA. It's perfect for every season, night or day, anytime. Perfectly balanced
Pasote XA is an amazing tequila , to bad its so difficult to find now days since its no longer made .
Have it, but haven’t opened it (Sieta Legias Decadas). But have had, Santanera Kosher Blanco. All I can say is women love it. So if your after that, then this is best Tequila in the world ❤

I enjoy Volans, but it isn't personally my favorite & I think it can be a bit overpriced, like Wild Common, so I couldn't justify spending the coin on this. Enjoy youts, though & nice review, as usual!
Thank you ! Comparing prices from Volans blanco and reposado to wild commons, Volans is a bit more affordable I believe the high proof is an only a few dollars difference, in terms of quality they are both excellent products. Salud !
