I have heard so many bad things about Ozempic. Sharon Osborne actually spoke out about how horrible it was. She lost so much weight and muscle Mass to the point of looking sick and can't gain it back. Several have had blockages in their intestines and, in fact, that's why Lisa Marie Presley died. My sister is on it and I have been trying to get her to stop it. It's not a good drug and the mass celebrity use is not on the up and up. Some celebrities are paid to promote it and were even having Ozempic parties where they would shoot their friends up with the drug in order to get them on it. It's a big pharma money grab and in no way healthy. Please be careful and use with caution. I know what struggles with weight are like and when you said "In my mind to be thin is to be happy" that really resinated with me. I am at my highest weight ever too and now I can look back at all of the times I called myself fat and admit to myself that I wasn't as big as my mind told me I was. I wish I could go back to that time in my life and see myself for who I really was. You are a very beautiful woman and I pray that you use discernment when it comes to taking this medication. I take ozempic for my type 2 diabetes and it is fantastic for getting my blood sugars to normal. Yes there are side effects but it is for my health, not weight. Unfortunately due to the trend for taking it for weight loss it is in such short supply here in the UK, I am having trouble getting hold of my normal dose of 0.5 amd have to use 0.25 which is having a small impact on my sugars.

I did not lose on Ozempic and had exhaustion. Switched to Mounjaro and started to lose and no exhaustion.

Beef, butter, eggs and water! My Doctor tried to get me to take that shit! NOPE! You lab rats can take it!

There are people that get it and people that don't. It is the same with everything. The facts of healthy eating are easy - its the mental battle that a lot of people don't understand. I am sorry you have not found a solution yet. You are so lovely and honest - I am week four on Ozempic. I over ate as a child to protect myself from my abusive grandfather. I thought if i was chubby he would not think i was "so pretty". Fast forward 47 years and its not as simple as low carb / calories / diet. That's the EASY bit. Bless you. I am watching. If you're relying on a drug to do the work for you, you're never going to achieve any lasting results. It's 98% mental and the mind is a powerful thing. Avoid pre-packaged, highly processed foods. Stop eating sugar. Go lightly on carbs. Go mostly carnivore.

Jaime French made a video about having bad side effects AND not losing any weight. The stuff I read says about 5% of people are "non-responders" to ozempic and there's no clear reason why. Being that exhausted is a sign your metabolism is just shutting down rather than burning up fat, and is trying to get by without letting you lose weight. Your metabolism is drastically reducing your daily caloric need by slowing way down. Trizepatide/Mounjaro works a little differently than Ozempic and might be a better option for you. It's also possible you gained some after your doctor's visit, and also just happen to be higher on the scale today than you would be tomorrow or a few days from now (you know weight fluctuates due to all sorts of things). It's possible having an absolutely accurate on that same scale starting weight, and comparing it to an average of a week's worth of weights now, would show a loss, but obviously not a big one, and I can understand being frustrated with that, especially with the side effects.

You clearly have an issue with too frequent and too much food. If you’re tired and laying in bed all day…. You cannot gain weight. It’s absolutely impossible if you’re not taking in calorie energy you cannot gain weight. If you’re not in therapy to figure out why you’re killing your self with food, I would suggest digging in to that. Been on tirzepatide for 6 weeks. I’m a nurse on my feet for 12 hr shifts. I’ve lost about 15 of the 30 lbs I want to lose. My hunger signals are minimal….so i don’t eat often. And when I do feel hungry….i focus on eating protein. It’s not the med, sweetheart.

I feel amazing. I’ve lost 10 lbs. No fatigue with electrolytes. 3rd time ? I would assume after that 2nd time somebody would say that's enough! Stay away from carbs and exercise...why is that so hard?

It is so difficult to lose weight, I understand how you may feel that medication is your best option. But as soon as you are off the meds, the weight will come right back on. So many diets out there neglect food addiction that is built into our available processed food. Maybe take a pause to rest, reflect and gather information from trusted research based sources. Good luck to you. You are certainly not alone.

my good friend who is overweight and type 2 diabetes went on ozempic..he only lost 4 pounds in 2 months and told me that it was coming out both ends..he couldn't go anywhere..not a right fit for everybody..

I’m doing a calorie deficit in conjunction with the Ozempic, today is a month and I’ve lost 14 lbs. I had severe fatigue, but I also started a heart medication at the same time and since I went off that I feel better.

I read that a main ingredient in O is the same chemical found in the Sonoran Gila Monster venom. That it kills your stomach. Eventually you won’t be able to digest food at all. Good luck.

Why would you keep trying it again if the side effects were intolerable? The side effects would still be an issue I would think

Please get off the Ozempic and go back to Old School calorie counting...and be honest with it. They are going to find more problems with Ozempic that may not be highly publicized because of it's marketing program. Wrap your head around this: If you think you will ever be one of those supposedly naturaly skinny people who never thinks about food...you won't. Pick your pain. Do you want to be overweight and all the health and social problems that comes with it or embrace the pain of having to say no to yourself and reign in your over consumption of calories for the rest of your life. And also know that no matter how much you lose there will still be days you'll feel fat no matter how slim you get. It sucks sometimes, but it works and you will feel better about it as times goes on. Start at 1500 calories per day and decrease it as your weight gets closer to where you want it. Do not go below 1200. Best of luck to you!
