Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef (or lamb, or combination)
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp butter
For the Mashed Potato Topping
- 3-4 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1/4 cup milk or heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper, to tasty
Meat Filling
1. Cook ground beef in a large skillet until browned.

3. Stir in flour and butter until combined.
Mashed Potato Topping
1. Boil potatoes until tender.
