Torbreck Vintners was created with the aim of building one of the finest wine estates in the world. Our vision is to pay homage to the vineyards of the Barossa Valley, home to some of the oldest vines on the planet.
Old Vines. Part 1 - VINES
Making wines with old vines, and being an Old Vines specialist is a hallmark of Torbreck Vintners. In this two part Masterclass we explore Old Vines and take a deep dive into why we value these old plants, and what we believe is special that they impart to the resulting wines. The Barossa is home to some of the oldest vines in the world, and we see our role as the current custodians to nurture, resurrect and indeed replant clones from these old source materials to ensure intense, rich fruit is available for years to come.
