Crossing your fingers and hoping that the program doesn't crash is so relatable for when working with autodesk products.

Great explanations on file linking. I understand the typo at 26:35, where the heading should be "Link Consumed Revit Models" rather than "Link WIP Revit models." - not to be confused.
This is awesome i modeled my CNC and its all set up !!!!!!!!
very cool, was not aware recap could to that kind of extraction on the cloud
do you have anymore videos on showing slope percentages for ADA ramps, sidewalk, and approaches to push buttons ?
Excellent video!!! however just 165 likes
I need an expert opinion about Infraworks vs TBC which is better for feature extraction and surface creation??
we need a full tutorial for beginner in dynamo with RSA, also we need to show how he help in extraction result from ROBOT
what happened to the other guy :(
If you work on a model for a whole day and you save and sync, but u forget to publish to the cloud at the end of the day and the next day you realise your computer crashed totally. Can you still find your work for the last day, is this saved to the cloud file? or is all the data lost into that cachefolder on your local pc? What I mean is, isnt it easier to create a ACC folder online where you link you central model cache data Standard this is C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Revit It's safer to put the Cache location onto the cloud itself. For example: ACCDocs\xxxx\Cloud Model Cache\Project Files\ "Every Project of your business"
I am not sure if anyone would reply or no but can I kindly get the code for "Create Drawing" rule that's used in the assembly. If other codes are provided then I'll be much more Thankful.
I think there is incomplete information on youtube regarding drawing automation and i am also searching for complete videos on Inventor Api. and drawing automation
Hello sir I have tried that double click on output of node but nothing happen as just happen with you like pop up of suggest node next to it in Revit 2024 dynamo?
You may want to visit the Community forums to reach out to experts who can help: forums.autodesk.com/
Thank you for the very informative and helpful video! What's the difference between auto and short lacing?
i want to share... but not everything. i'd like to share a model that has stripped out 2d drafting views, sheets, notes, general code sheets, etc. i know i can save a file with all this stuff removed... but how do i incorporate in the design collaboration workflow, with packages?
You may want to check with our product experts at the Community forums for more specific solutions with sharing this model the way you want: forums.autodesk.com/
This video does not address why the 20 mile away warning comes up and how to fix it properly. It doesn't address what clipping and unclipping the survey point does. Overall, this does not show how this process works and Autodesk needs to fix this BADLY.
I was really hoping this would be a tutorial for how to model actual stairs in dynamo in a way that interfaces with the stair tool. I and I’d wager 99% of all architects never get to make stairs like this. I’m aware you can model stairs in dynamo as masses but I need to produce them as stair objects so that other people can edit them. But as far as I can tell there are no nodes that interact with the stair tool. Stairs are generally a tedious, mathematically driven task that needs to he redone on every project. They’re ripe for a dynamo work flow to save time. I’d love a video about that.

I wish every Adesk presenter could be as professional, knowledgeable and succinct about a topic as John Pierson was here. A stellar presentation.
Thank you so much! 😀
Why List.Flatten node does not work in a custom node?
does live linking bring changes directly when synchronize to central, or after reload the link in manage links dialogue box makes changes to appear
@user-pg8vv2jg9y For help with that, consider posting in the Revit Community here: forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-products/ct-p/2003

If you have a model open, and a live link is updated, you must reload the linked model for any changes to display. Just doing a regular Sync operation will not show the latest version of the live linked model. Of course, when you first open your model, all links are updated automatically and you always see the latest version of the linked model. But during the work process, you have to Reload the link to get the latest changes.
Thank you for this, with regards to the last option - if rather than the consultants uploading their model to their respective folder we asked them to issue it via the swim lane I assume they sender would need a BIM Collaborate license? Would this license in-turn also mean that the view would be visible online whereas the current option 3 does not?
im working with 3 different architects, now when i want to link with one of those it doesnt show their files in my docs, only shows the other 2 architects, why? and thanl you for the knoledge
We’re sorry to hear you’re having issues with connecting. Make sure all 3 are enabling the sharing and if you need more help, please visit our support center: www.autodesk.com/support
Hi@@AutodeskCommunity1 thank you the repply! I'm able to see it know, but i have more questions! hahaha is there any course or course link for bim360 that you guys recommend? my issues are the following, 1st the link project have some coordinate different that mine, example 1 level in the arch link says -22 and when i match that level in my end shows 8000' the other issue is that i open the arquitect model from the autodesk docs in my computer (the architect is not mine) and it says that its been moved but it does open in, I haven saved, or moved anything! :(

really bad instruction be honest. a simple cross in survey file import into project that should do. talk talk talk but skip the import detail sorry
at 28:13 you open a tab with your Haas VF3. and you say: "so first thing to bear in mind is that here i've got a uh just a hash machine a vf3 and i can go and i can take some of these components " Wish you could have taken 15 seconds and described how you got that model open and from where. I'm trying to find out how to take an existing machine model and edit it with my table I've already modeled, add fixtures as well as any generic 210mm rotary table. My machine is a Milltronics RH19 and my 4 th axis is a Tanshing vrnc210 so I'm pretty sure there isn't a model of it available.
Where can I find the presentation referenced at 34:30 that talked more about transactions?

how to lock my PKT file creation from SAC (Sub Assesmbly Compposer)? thank you
Thanks
Hello, Where can i get the workflow? (4:30) It could be helpfull to standarize my BIM workflow using only Autodesk softwares Thanks!
At about minute 7 you say that you need a minimum "Create" permission but, provide no clear reason why. I've tested this out and even with View permissions live linking works inside of Revit. Was that for something else to work inside of the design collaboration module?
Wouldve been better workshop if the models used where connected to each other, I mean why was the MEP model another building? So that we can visualize fully between trades ON THE SAME BUILDING But great information BTW

早点看到这个也比我4.6号自己在那里测试好,也比前两天Autodesk中国的人讲得好,不过以后我就不自己测试了,来看这个更全面,也节约时间,希望能越早介绍越好,然后介绍前给我发邮件通知。
I am in need of help with opening up project models from auto desk onto revit and having the links linked.. i am new to Revit so i might not make any sense but arent the models meant to be linked already when you open up a model?
I dont have an external resources option?
Sir how actually we can compare actual vs planned schedule
Are the graphs you showed available for download? Can you posted png file of graphs if not. Thanks
Great webinar! Thank you :)
Thank you so much Deepak. Great explanation on file linking options. I have always been using all these methods for linking however never came across a clear explanation on them. Very useful demonstration. I would like to add my experience on desktop connector linking, desktop connector linking doesn't work in attachment mode (when the main model is linked into the other model), we'll not see the non workshared cloud file linked with desktop connector.
I have same issue 😢
