Small update just got it earlier this week. It's definitely an upgrade from the 700m2. I'm super happy with it!

Alt på ac siden har begrænset effekt. Spild ikke for meget energi på at lave dyre power kabler. Som iøvrig er pisse ulovligt da alt 230volt skal godkendes efter skarpe regler. Så køb heller et anstændigt power kable. Inakustik laver nogen super gode og billige power kabler som er lavet efter loven og er et af de få firmaer der faktisk får godkendt deres kabler. Deres signal kabler er også knald gode. Selv de billige til 399kr.

@@AudioheavenDenmarkja vil heller ikke investere for meget i strømkabler bare nogle pure copper plugs til 300kr og nogle neotech occ kobber kabler. Jeg er ved at lave mine egne linear psu så tror ikke jeg behøver at få mine strømkabler godkendt😂😮. Hvad med xlr kabel har pønset på at lave mit efet kabel med pure silver plugs og silver gold kabel.

I only use it as a sacd and cd player. The streaming function is annoying. It's the mk1. It sounds fantastic as a transport.

What model has a led strip?

I think the one with the led strip is a yamaha??? I've heard rumors of a new technics int amp with build in streamer and storage. That would be a killer I think. I to wish the amp had streaming build in. But I'm using the technics sl-g700 as a streamer amd transport

1 year and still going strong and very happy with it. I'm using the amps digital inputs for playback of digital media. Remember it's a digital amplifier. So it doesn't need a dac to play digital media.

@@AudioheavenDenmarkwas just reading about the digital amp topology after I posted sorry! That’s good you’re still happy with it a year in, given it’s an all-in-one solution. Can I ask what your gear before was?

​@@bombers7878I'm a tube dude. But due to some health issues I had to down scale on the tube front. I still have a few tube setups. But before this I was using a all audio note level 4 and 5 system.. I kept the speaker's and replaced everything else. And to be frank, I don't feel that I downgraded 🎉

@@AudioheavenDenmarki’ve heard some lvl 3 audio note that was amazing so that’s some extremely high praise! I think RealhifiHelp (Larry) who you might know has also taken a similar path, from Audio Note to the Technics.

@@bombers7878 audio note sounds amazing. I still have a full level 3 system. But I find the technics su-r1000 to be more layered and agile and spacious

@@AudioheavenDenmark Thanks! I've actually turned around and sold it already, though 😅 The SU-R1000 is hands down, an awesome piece of equipment. The functionality, fit, finish and style leave little to be desired. The objective performance is extremely high. It has an extremely clean sound, high resolution, excellent sense of space, powerful dynamics and an inky black background. And yet, I just found it to be too dry and sterile. It is an elegant and legitimate one box, end game solution, provided it suites your taste. In my case, I am coming from a Parasound Hint 6 and had also been auditioning Thomas' Galion TS120 SE tube amp. Neither of these can match the SU-R1000 in many aspects of its raw performance. But in comparison, the SU-R1000 just isn't engaging to me. The other two are a little warmer, a little sweeter, a little more vocal forward and generally just draw me into the music more. The Technics' very flat tonality tends to leave vocals farther back in the mix, even if they are crystal-clear, but worse, some vocals, mostly female, tend to sound nasal to me by comparison. The TS120 in particular, really nails everything in an emotional level, without giving up too much ground in the technical department. Bass on the TS120 is in another league too. They're both clean. But at high volume, tracks with strong bass come through clean and "live" on the Technics.. But with the TS120, my upgraded Tekton "Mighty" Moabs feel like they're going to make the floor boards peel up. The SU-R1000 doesn't do that. The person who bought the SU-R1000 from me has Klipsch Forte IV. While they can't match my Tektons, they do at least have a slightly sweeter coloration themselves, which may offer better synergy with the Technics. The buyer has drawn mostly the same overall conclusions that I have, but he seemed to be getting on better with synergy than me. We didn't keep in touch after that, however. Had I come directly from another, more dead neutral solid state system, I would probably not have the same impressions and instead be over the moon with the SU-R1000's performance and simplicity. In the end, matter how badly I wanted to love it, I just kept going back to the tube amp..

@@zackw4941 at least you tried it. And for sure. It's not for everyone. And it really needs to be matched with something forward sounding speaker's ect. I'm a tube guy myself. So I know how you feel. :) tektron is amazing stuff to...

@@AudioheavenDenmark Thanks. I'm very happy with my Tektons! They are extremely transparent and natural. It's a good natural, but it also leaves it up to the electronics to add that little bit of color.

@@zackw4941 but aren't they 2 ohm speakers to? That really puts a limit on the technics su-r1000. It can do 2ohm. But it ain't happy and fast down there. Maybe that's why you missed the forwardness and contrast? I tried 2 ohm's load on it. And the sound completely took a backseat so to say. :) it really struggles below 2ohm.. Luckily. My speaker's are 6ohm average

It's the same. I. Mostly listen to around 65db. It's completely the same.. Just as punchy and free

Yes.. I have a dac 5 and 4 and a silver 2.1x signature. With dac 4.1x and 2.1x signature the technics su-r1000 iinternal digital solution is far better. I haven't tested it with the dac 5. Don't think it matters much as I find it point less to use a dac in front of the technics su-r1000. It's a digital amplifier. So it will perform better when it gets a digital signal. I tried the riaa vs a very big expensive riaa. No names named. But the technics su-r1000 riaa was miles ahead.

Oh and BTW. The technics su-r1000 doesn't have an internal dac. It doesn't need one as it is a digital amplifier. It just accepts every kind of digital formats.

Yes. I went through a bunch of different amplifiers from most of the brands we have in Denmark. Mcintosh. Pass labs. Accuphase. Boulder. Mark Levinson. Sugden. Naim. Krell. Hegel. And a few other's. Also did a bunch of pre and power amps mixing and matching. Spend like 2 months on it.

@@AudioheavenDenmark that's pretty impressive that the Technics beat out those well regarded brands. It must sound phenomenal in person. I'm thinking of getting the SU-G700mk2.

@@cafiveohsrockbandremix9254 it sure is. And I didn't expect it to. But man. Some of those American brands are freaking dull compared to it. Some was twice the price and still fell short. Not by a little bit. But by a lot. I think it's the lack of noise and coloring that makes the technics su-r1000 so darn good... I still have a few tube setups. But I mainly use the technics.

@@cafiveohsrockbandremix9254 the g700m2 is not far away from su-r1000 performance. But it needs break in. It's a bit small sounding at first. But when it's broken in. It really is big and bold.

In that time I will be fish feed in some kind. But I did have my experience with drum filters and moving bed. I tried them for two year's. And during that time period. My koi lost color and size. And my water values where dancing around. So I went back to my old filter setup and within week's I could see both the koi and the water was getting better. Air-rated matts are just superior to anything else. Can't go wrong with mattings. Just needs to use them the right way :)
