Hi,please could you help, just got this mavic mini drone, when I turn it on one of the round sensors on the bottom flikers red, then goes of when connected,is this a problem?yours faithfully,Stephen H.
Excellent sir i replaced gimbal after crash still error gimbal calibration error 40011
Hello, very good video, I have a big doubt, I want to know if you know where exactly the compass is located in the Mavic Air 2, I had a similar doubt with the compass of the Mavic Air v1 and after investigating more than 6 I was able to confirm that it was located in the main board, that is, it is integrated with the board. Do you know if the same thing happens with the Mavic Air 2 version? Thank you
You forgot number twelve…..no lights at all after storing for 3 months. I have not flown for 3 months due to excessive amounts of rain. Pulled out my drone today and every battery is dead, no lights at all. That is 10 batteries on a phantom 4 all now just paperweights.
Cảm ơn vedeo hướng dẫn, bạn ơi bây giờ mình đan gặp cái sự cố bị khóa gimba không bây được phải khắc phục như thế nào ạ bạn ơi
I just finished calibrating
Nagadałeś się i ch.j z tego wyszło :)
Thanks for your tutorial! I have the original Mavic Air, can the green arrows be turned off? Thanks again. 👍😊
easy problem

Thank you very well done, you helped me….
thanks for new knowledge
Hi! HELP# I always fly my drones over the bay, since here in Miami Beach, FL, where I live, is a very crowded area with many tall buildings. I already crashed on the water the Mavic Mini and the Mini 2. The problem is that while using the left joystick to rotate, I lower the altitude by mistake and forget to keep checking it. I get very distracted looking at the video images. Why the drone doesn't have a "Low Terrain warning" that I could preset to, let's say 10 or 20 meters, so it sends me a warning when I am below the predeterminate altitude. Especially over the bay where I can't receive the drone? Thank you!
Well done, recalibrated mine just so I’d remember the steps. Worked great. Recent tree crash has disabled my MA2 white led landing light won’t turn on now. Is that a serviceable part?
How often should i calibrate
Hi, your video help me a lot, but I noticed when i tilt the drone in my hand, the app show me an error message with a IMU, it's normal? I think it show it after I tilt it pass 45º angle (front-back or lateral).. Thanks
Hi Erik, I'm pretty sure I get that error as well when I tilt the drone with my hand, and I'm pretty sure it's normal. It's likely the drone saying "hey, that's too much tilt" ;)
@@letusdrone3775 Perfect, I wanted to make sure it was normal... Thank you!
Let us drone, Quick Q: Do you recommend using generic off brand P4P 5870mah rated batteries. I can get 2 for the price of 1... it just makes sense if all the technology is the same. Ty!
my air2 last time on rth landed 2m away from where it took from, is that compaass too?
Very helpful. This really fits the terrain I fly in. I wish DJI offered it on their newer drones.
Thank's
My Phantom 4 battery has issue number 4. Please tell the permanent solution...🙏
I want to know about problem number 9 in detail because my aircraft falled when it was lending from 8ft hight after that I found the notification battery signal error n battery connection is broken the how can I repair it if u send me a repairing video related this problem
Great video
Can you please cancel my TH-cam channel?
1.5 metres should be about shoulder height.
My phantom 4 battery has 60% or so charge in it. It has one light flashing slowly and two other lights on solid along with the power button light on solid, when powered up. The problem I have is, it won't charge and it won't power up the drone. Everything is a few years old but my other battery is working fine and so is my charger working fine. All has been in storage for a long time, but the drone works well and the firmware is updated. Any ideas please? Can you buy parts for the battery? Thanks
Hmm, I would try to try to do a deep battery discharge cycle, which would entail running the battery down to around 10% and then charging it back up. It's my understanding that performing a deep battery discharge cycle re-initializes the battery's software, which may work to fix your problem. I realize that it will be difficult running your battery from 60% to 10% if it won't power up the drone, but maybe you could just leave the battery on for a while and power it off when there is only one light left. Then, try charging it up. I don't know if this will work or not, but that's the course of action I would take if it was my battery. You could also upload some of that battery's more recent flights to AirData UAV to see its trends and if there were any deviations with the battery. If there were major deviations, then you'd likely want to stop using that battery anyway as flying with a bad battery cell could be risky. Hope this helps!
I done the compass and IMU a couple times and it told me that the calibration was successful. I get no warnings and I have done flights. However, Under the safety page of the DJI fly app, it says Calibrate, I thought it would show normal or something else. Should I worry????
If you were able to successfully calibrate the IMU and compass and conduct flights without any warnings, then it sounds like there might be an error with the Fly app. I would make sure the app/drone/RC are app updated. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Fly app.
Many thanks, straight forward and well explained...Regards Mavic Air 2 Newby
thank you !
Helpful my friend. My Mavic Air had a relatively small crash (5 foot drop) and now it is always on OPTI/ATTI mode. Did the compass calibration but I think I need to do the IMU as well. Thank you
You're welcome. Hope you get it figured out!
Very nice video..thanks for the inputs . Keep it up you're doing great!
Your encouragement is much appreciated!
Dear Sir, Thanks for a wonderful video. My Mavic Air 2 crashed a month ago while failing to land on a boat inside a lake. The gimbal has been broken but other functions such as landing, take off, return to home, other sensors are working fine and I have sent that to a DJI service center for repair. Hopefully in next 10-15 days I'll get that again with a new gimbal. Can you please let me know what else needs to be done before flying and installing the gimbal on it. Please also note that I didn't send the controller service center. Do I need to calibrate the IMU with the controller only or there are any other steps. Best regards, Ghaffar
Hello, thanks for the comment. If it were me, I would calibrate the IMU and compass. Both of those actions don't take long, and you don't know how the drone was handled while in the repair center. For your first flight, I would have the drone hover near you at about 3 - 4' for a few minutes while watching and listening for anything unusual. After hovering, I'd test all of the drone's movements (roll, pitch, yaw, gimbal, etc.). That's what I would do :) Here's a video I made about calibrating the Mavic Air 2 compass: th-cam.com/video/21YVsDC_tWk/w-d-xo.html
@@letusdrone3775 Hello sir ... thank you so much for your fruitful reply. Well all the recommendations have already been done by the DJI repair center and once I receive that I'll do all that again. Thanks for the link too ...
Here did you get a Lego drone pilot and drone? Very cool for the illustrations!
I thought it was cool, too ;). Thanks! I got it on ebay: www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-LEGO-MINIFIGURE-S-SERIES-20-71027-Drone-Boy/333593492616?hash=item4dabb8bc88:g:SYsAAOSwKu9etMBB
I love this video very much help bro... Another quick question Which one should you calibrate first, the Compass or IMU?
Thanks! Because the IMU and compass play different roles on the aircraft, I don't think it matters which you calibrate first. I haven't stuck to a particular order with my DJI drones and I haven't had any issues. Hope this helps!
@@letusdrone3775 Thanks have a bless day 🙏🏽
Absolutely superb.
Thank you!
Nice video 👍
Thank you, your video helped me to figure out why it wasn't going pass 95%. I wasn't turning it on it's sides.
why are you doing opposite the yellow circle of the drone (it appears you are doing clockwise and the app suggested counter-clockwise?)
Great catch! To be honest, I didn't notice that the arrow was pointing counter-clockwise. That said, I've always gone clockwise with this drone and my other DJI drones, without any issue. Additionally, I don't believe there is any written literature from DJI stating that the correct direction is counter-clockwise. If someone knows otherwise, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Exilent review, thank you. Best regards.
Thanks for watching!
good info, i have never done this because its never asked me too. all seems fine.
Thanks for the great and to the point video. After the IMU calibration, the MA2 restarts immediately while the arms are still folded. Should I pick it up off the surface or quickly unfold them?
Hi, thanks for the comment. I wouldn’t advise picking up the drone while it’s restarting - just leave it on the level surface with the arms folded. Once it has restarted, you can proceed to unfold the arms. 👍🏻
@@letusdrone3775 thank you kindly
@@letusdrone3775 so, you let it restart on it's back?
Thanks! I've never done that right because i didn't know how. This was really helpful.
Awesome! Now you do 👍🏻
I keep getting IMU ERROR... and i keep calibrating it...but it still pops up...any tips
Hello, thanks for the comment. At the end of the calibration process, does the Fly app say "calibration successful" and proceed to restart the aircraft?
Me too... But after IMU CALIBRATION ITS RESTARTED AND SAYS SUCCESFULL, BUT STILL POP UP IMUERROE
Excellent, I have mavic air 2, but when moving forward seems the drone is not flying straight, what should do I wonder?
Hi, thanks for the comment. Did you try calibrating the IMU and compass? Here’s a video I made about calibrating the compass: th-cam.com/video/21YVsDC_tWk/w-d-xo.html Did it start happening out of nowhere, or has it been doing it since you got the drone?
@@letusdrone3775 hi, I never calibrate the compass and imu, but I will do it. I think from first buying is normal, i notice it about last month, i bought the drone in June. Will keep you updated.
