David has sooo many talents, but I'm always delighted especially with his rhythm whether he's playing his banjo, guitar, or a multitude of percussion instruments and body parts.

So good to track down Alice Gerrard and remember the Harmony sisters. I first heard them On the Larman's show on KPFK. Howard and Roz brought us a lot of geat artists and the Harmony sisters were certainly at the top of the list for me. I still have a couple of the LP's which I prize. Thanks for all the wonderful music.

Ms. Giddens, you are clearly highly intelligent, well versed in history, and a talented musician. In short, you know your s$+%. The more of your music I have the opportunity to hear, the better. Your music is beautiful, and deeply moving, and it's an excellent refrain for the current day. I truly and deeply hope that influences such as yours can help us ACTUALLY deal with America's past and help build a more (and eventually completely) anti-racist future.
