Great instructional video. Everyone, you can only use 2.5 lbs of torque on the 4 screws on the mounting bracket that goes around your trolling motor shaft or you will crack the bracket. I know because I cracked mine. I did that before I had seen this video. Like they said, Velcro is the way to go. Zip ties will crush the wires and cost you a $1,000. Thank you guys for the great instructional video.

They have a current regulator circuit so 9v to 18v goes in but "x" voltage/amperage always comes out and to the device. The finder/GLS10 has no idea what the input voltage is on the other side of the circuit regulator, nor does it matter to the clarity.

I talked to Garmin Tech on the phone last week. If you have any interference on your units! The GL 10 on the live scope and the new Echo ultra 2 have earth-ground screws on the back. Earth ground means water ground, not the negative ground going to the battery. Yes, the battery is grounded to the motor but the RF may travel to the battery and then to all the other units before it goes to the ground and causes static noise. If you have a static issue ground straight to water ground some boats have a water ground in hull with a plate under the dash. This new Blue tooth and live scope and your cell phones may? Need a water ground

Live foot is mounted to the trolling motor shaft.. Live foot can be moved around left or right independently when you are spot locked/anchor locked..

Great video, I just bought a Garmin GPSMAP 743xsv. I am going to have it professionally flush mounted. I noticed that there is an SD card in one of the 2 slots which is in the rear of the unit. I am not sure what's on the card. Should I leave it in or take it out. I did install a blank card into the second slot, what should I do?

At some places, you can find the 126sv without the transducer or with the transducer. If I’m trying to use it for livescope, do I need to buy the package with the transducer? I’m super confused about this whole with and without transducer thing.

Any thoughts on re-urposing an old trolling motor and taking the actual prop off? Used 12v trolling motors are often sold for a couple hundred dollars or less, and come with foot pedals.

He basically just says get used to it.

Where do you get that mount for the 30amp breaker ? I am trying to get that exact same type of mount for my on/off disconnect switch but I can only find the corner mounts ? Please let me know as have been trying to find a mount where you can mount it to a straight section and not a corner mount !
