known as RONCHETTA or RONCOLETTA..often also called "Roncola" (Billhook) the handling of the Italian pruning knife is, of course, different than that of the, much heavier and bigger, real Roncola. It is more or less a specific knife fighting concept. Here you can see the complete method, which consist of 2 guards & attacks, a invitation, and 4 defence actions including counterattacks.

@@paolosacchi5176 OK..L'allenamento nelle arti marziali è sempre un compromesso (sicurezza-controllo-realismo), utilizziamo metodi diversi, moderni, tradizionali o storici - con o senza protezione con intensità regolata. Il nostro allenamento per la difesa su strada è qualcosa di completamente diverso (qui lo scenario coltello vs coltello non sarebbe molto realistico).
