      @@paolosacchi5176 OK..L'allenamento nelle arti marziali è sempre un compromesso (sicurezza-controllo-realismo), utilizziamo metodi diversi, moderni, tradizionali o storici - con o senza protezione con intensità regolata. Il nostro allenamento per la difesa su strada è qualcosa di completamente diverso (qui lo scenario coltello vs coltello non sarebbe molto realistico).

    • @orbismartialarts6937
      @orbismartialarts6937 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      For sure, the (english) prohibitions on carrying weapons were an important factor in the development of the art..which had it´s prime time in the factionfights (so also irish vs irish)

    • @ardet7383
      @ardet7383 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Staves are a common weapon through history due to ease of access. You can make them from stuff you find in the woods, so its is easy for those who can't afford a sword to get one, and hard to disarm the people.

    • @orbismartialarts6937
      @orbismartialarts6937 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      we used to make our own,which are basicilly heavy modified boxing helmets...you can have a closer look here th-cam.com/video/zVVQeIxhtrE/w-d-xo.html but now mostly allstar fencing masks,optional with added protection for historical swordfighting...better protection, more comfortable ... but you loose them easier in close combat.
