If you don't consider Upper Arlington (and others), then this list makes sense. The list should be titled "The 5 best places to live if you can't get a home in Upper Arlington, Grandview, Worthington or Bexley"- sorry, it's just a fact. Soon it will be "The 5 best places to live between Cleveland and Columbus".

😊really nice home, but not for that asking price. Maybe come down to about 300,000 then you have deal 🥰 maybe a little more depending on the location. The neighborhood and value of other homes in that location would make a difference.

I’m a single 50 year old , Never Married , childless man … all I want is a nice 240K 2 bedroom bath and 1/2 acondo in Westerville or New Albany about 1400 sq foot and I’m happy …. Now I may never get it but it’s what’s like to have.

I’m originally from Cleveland OH. Right after highschool I moved to scottsdale AZ for college 2.5 years and then moved to Denver for 5 years then moved back to AZ for the last 3 years. I am looking to relocate in about a year when my lease is up. I am looking to start a family and settle down and wanna be closer to my family and friends back in Cleveland however Cleveland seems very run down to me and the people seem absolutly misserable everytime I visit. I feel like Columbus could be a happy medium of being close to family but still have that medium-bigger city vibe. Do you think Columbus is growing more and has more to offer for a family? Is there a lot to do besides drinking at breweries for families? Thanks!!

This is a great video We found you on TH-cam and have been watching. Living in the Toledo area and our children after college at OSU are staying in CBUS area. Considering a move that way but just beginning to see what will fit us. Suburbs of Toledo are spacious and we loved the community feel of the area we raised our kids. This is a nice video for us. I've lived in Florida for 26 years and it feels like it just gets hotter and hotter every year. The cost of living is so high, especially here in Naples. There are high rises going up in every direction because of the amount of people that have moved here, especially post Covid. The "winter" here is the only nice time of the year, but that only lasts 3 months or so. The rest of the year feels like you're walking into an oven and the humidity makes you feel sticky as soon as you step outside. My job is offering a move to Columbus, OH with a nice relocation bonus and I don't have to think twice. I'm so excited. My dad lives in Cincinnati and I've always thought Ohio is a nice place to live. I can't wait to experience seasons and not have to spend 60% of my paycheck on a roof over my head.

Did you say pizza?? If you haven't tried Little Sicily's Pizza in the small town of Brice, which is close to Canal Winchester! A suburb southeast of Columbus, Ohio! When we visit inlaws, they always want us to go there but we don't complain!! Lol

Not many people are leaving Florida for Ohio lol. ALOT more people are coming to Florida than the people leaving 😂 Florida just surpassed 23 MILLION residents. And the ENTIRE Northern part of Florida is considered “empty” with 85% of the residents in Florida living in Central or South Florida. The Hurricanes aren’t even that bad. Certainly gets overblown by the media.

The neighborhoods all look nice. I've lived in So. Calif my whole life, and never been in a home without a backyard fence. Every house has one here. Would be my only concern as we have dogs.

Hopefully, it doesn't turn out the way in Columbus, Ohio like it did in Los Angeles, California. Was nice from 1999-2019. Then it gradually got overcrowded, overpriced, nothing but traffic jams followed by all the crime. Packed up and moved with my family to Westerville. Over the past five years, I do already noticed an uptick in nasty traffic. BTW: Weather is horrible here, but people are nice, parks are nice, fall is fantastic, and opposed to many, I do like the winter season, but not the pot holes in spring all over the place. Fingers crossed 🤞

do NOT buy a new build

Nobody in Columbus waves at you,they flip you off. Its way over populated, you get cut off, almost hit and side swiped daily. Someone always blowing their horn at someone else. Driving through down town is very nerve wracking. The rent is Outrageous here. Homeless people everywhere. Shootings daily. If you get a good job it doesnt matter you pay so much for food and rent and utilities your broke regardless. Almost daily someone is getting ran over while walkng on the sidewalk or riding a bike or pushing your baby in a stroller. Cars always cars being stolen and police chases. In the last year Its so bad in Columbus, nothing but dollar generals with bare shelves and carts full of inventory sitting in the way of everything. So many apartment complex's being built in every little space they can shove one. Yeah move to Columbus its so much better than a corn field! By the way the public school system here is trash! The school public transportation system doesn't have enough drivers your kid will be late to and from school or be having to stand up on the bus cause they have to shove two or three routes on at once. Drive your kid! Always remember stay out of those little corn field towns they actually wave at everybody as they drive through.

Nice list but very expensive. I understand your a realtor and sell big, but for average Joes like myself, look at 1.) Hilliard, 2.) Grove City, 3.)Gahanna, 4.) Dublin, 5.) Worthington

As a Dublin resident for 29 years, I can say it ain’t cheap, however you get what you pay for, great schools, great events and great infrastructure

30 miles east of Columbus, give or take you have Thornville , Corn and soybean fields ! Just hard not to love ! and you can get a home with some land for what you pay for a speedbump in these places.

There one other reason why people are moving to Ohio. The Rust belt is the safest place in the U.S.A from climate change. Because the Rust belt has the Great Lakes up in the north and the Appalachian mountains at east and south.

Upper Arlington is by far the best place to live in Columbus.

My Son moved to Worthington after graduating Ohio State.He liked the small town feel after being born and raised in Salem Ohio.

Man...I knew what you were gonna pick before I even watched the video. And, viewers...he's right: Bring your checkbook. A really BIG checkbook. May as well get a AAA membership because none of these are actual suburbs. They're satellite towns. Most are north and west of the outerbelt. If you're watching this and you make less than six figures, you're gonna have one heck of a time even finding housing in these school districts. Regrettably, "best" often means "richest"...and I don't see that changing anywhere anytime soon.
