    Please allow me to break it all down for you. EVERYTHING about arizona sucks. The weather, yes, even the 3 lovely winter months suck. The people suck, I don't care about the color of the skin, everyone in Arizona has some kinda chip on their shoulder and you guessed it, you are going to get treated like dogshit. Most people in Arizona are on the ugly side too. The environment looks like a bombed out war zone. We can talk about graffiti on everything, the garbage along the interstate, the ever present smell of Marijuana everywhere, most houses look really rough, how many shades of brown do you enjoy? There is this overwhelming feeling of despair in most places, there are homeless/vagrant people EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME. The cost of everything is much higher than average here, do some research. Groceries, gas, insurance, medical care, housing etc. The so called law enforcement is a joke here. You may enjoy living in Arizona however I am ashamed, embarrassed, and over being in a place of dysfunctional fools.

    For the speeding, do most have radar detectors? do the cops just not care? I thought this might be the video that turned me away but it all sounds good to me! Here in Canada everything is 3x or more in cost, no freedom, cracked windshields and rotted rusty cars within 10 years of purchase, no guns ( a pocket knife is generally frowned upon ) the water is terrible depending on where you are, crime and homelessness is getting extremely bad in any large city, the area I'm in southern ontario has been deemed "east detroit" no scorpions for the most part but tons of other nasty bugs in the short hot and humid summer and then terrible depressing winters for the other 8 months of the year..

    • @LivingInPhoenixWestValley
      @LivingInPhoenixWestValley ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi @alwaysgoodinthewoods :). Regarding speeding, we don’t have a radar detector, we just stay with the flow of traffic. Yes, the flow of traffic when it’s not rush hour is 10-15 miles over the posted speed limit. The people who are typically getting pulled over are the ones that are going faster than the rest of the vehicle on the roadway has driving in and out of traffic. Don’t much have to worry about salt in the roads here, however if you travel north to Flagstaff, watch out for some serious potholes. This past year they got lots of snow and it really tore up the roads. Yes water here is terrible, a soft water & r/o are pretty necessary. I’ve lived in areas of the country where it’s gray sky’s for months. Love those areas and will visit them on the summer, but I would never move back. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if I can help you in your journey of living in the Phoenix area. I carry a hand gun with me 100% of the time 😉.

In the winter when the prevailing wind is out of the north they come close to us taking off. I have yet to see a scorpion but roaches are starting to be a problem. I've gone 90 to keep up with traffic. I love driving fast@ 😂😅😂 Except now I don't have a car. Housing prices are skyrocketing and rent is not cheap. Arkansas anyone? 😅 Oh ya. July was 110+ every day.

    I grew up in Tucson Arizona and attended Alice Vail Jr. High and Rincon High School. The State was very conservative and a great place to live. I enjoyed the dry, high temperatures and the beautiful mountains. Today it is a democRAT haven with high crime and I wouldn't move back for anything. It was heartbreaking to watch the pretend Republican Senator John McCain slowly drag the State into socialism and democRAT party control. This is the major reason I don't live there and do not recommend that any constitutional-loving American move there.

Not sure what is to come, only pray we can get the elections more secure. We live in a pretty conservative area, but starting to see a lot of policies that don't make sense for the people.
