Some of my favorite Agent Washington moments
You left out my favorite scene in the desert , when Washington sees the "HUMENS SUK" message on the sand from one of the aliens. Doc: "What does it say? What does it say?" Washington: "It says peace talks have broken down. Now we do it our way." Then him and the Meta starts killing the aliens.
Yes, I am agent Washingtub.
no jumping & private instances are features. The private instance really allows you to explore the world in your own way, while towns being the location you can interact with players creates good social zones to interact with people. if you look at any mmo with high tier zones, they're almost always private instances, why? because it's a better experience. It really promotes trading and chatting by really only presenting the opportunity in town, though with a lower population than peak players generally consolidate in a few key spots for trade/groups. This brings up a point that the game itself lacks a trading post as most know them. This game has a rich history of fan ran forums such as guild wars legecy where people trade, as well as standing ingame in kamadan to trade. But something this game has is NPC Traders or crafter for all the common items you would buy and sell, which adjust prices based off the market. in fact players use rare item/materials as currency, which are often based off the trader price, which players regulate though buying and selling. It really creates a trade system that's fun to work with, and allows you to buy and sell in/out of game how you want. GW1 is the best MMORPG, mechanically and aesthetically it has not been matched (the graphics themselves are limited. but in terms of game design everything is so well presented) Jumping is a feature people expect to be in games ever since Mario, but it really is a benefit to the game not having it. As a combat feature it becomes something you need to spam and manage, which doesn't translate to high level play, just crude spamming. On the other hand, by eliminating jumping the game makes positioning all the more critical, particularly given that PvP is the ultimate focus of the game with high level gameplay/teambuilding/strategy modern games don't approach. The movement in this game is no where near as fluid and refined as modern games at first glance, and anyone who's dealt with the pathing or npcs getting stuck should understand that, but those same issues are features in being able to block foes from running away, they can't jump around you unless they use a special skill or kill you. There was a legendary gvg match where a team blocked all the entrences to their a base stopping the other team from getting to the guild lord (The goal of gvg is to kill the enemy guild lord 8v8 with a lot of NPC allies) By tanking and healing the hits they managed to kill the enemy guild lord without the enemy being able to get back and save him. There's certainly times in this game where you wish to be able to jump rather than having to walk the long way around, but we should remember that this game is specifically designed around this mechanic system and if you embrace it, it's actually quite tastefully done. Looking forward to gw3, hoping to see them return to the goal of high level PvP, modern moba type games are pretty well the same to the PvP in gw, and they don't have jumping
from opp to ally
i thought this was washington’s best moments not Doc’s
Wash: I dont get paid enough for this. I dont think hes getting paid at all. Also does he have the same voice actor as Ozpin from RWBY?
Yes he does
0:50 the line “i thought maybe you’d been killed in the battle” becomes so sad once you’ve watched restoration
Who’s here after watching Restoration?🥲
Me. The Doc interactions about the seeing things hit different now...
Much like the shizno paradox to Zero, I just ignore restoration because 1 it felt like a continuation of the Freelancer seasons and repetition of the characterization of the reds and blues in blood gulch. It was a pretty mediocre season that tried to deliver a satisfying end to the series. It could have been better, but hey what can be done now with RT having shut down. I at least can personally consider parts of s15 canonical to the end of the Chorus trilogy. Also for some reason they didn't include Donut in restoration, besides a small cameo where Simmons was trying to motivate himself.
Jesus the final season hit hard, especially what happened with Doc and Washington
7:50 Never realized Washington went "Huh?" when Sarge took back his shotgun.
Doc and Wash really were one of the best duos, huh?
my favorite line from Season 8 by Wash is, “It says, ‘peace talks have broken down’.”
Wash might be the character I relate to the most. I’m either the dumbest guy, the person who’s done with everyone’s bs but gets things done, or the group’s dad.
3:24 Uh why did they retcon the shit out of this in season 10?
Not sure what you are referring too.
@@cameronisom2721You know I’m not quite sure either but I’m sure I had a good reason at the time. I wish I would have explained it in more detail to refer back to. Oh well
@@cameronisom2721he means that in season 10, Washington, when finding a picture of epsilons previous metal body, Washington claims he has never seen that thing before.
Caboose: Looks like we're not so different Agent Washington. Wash: No we are not..... and don't ever say that again.
How am I supposed to connect with these characters if I can't see their faces?
Their personalities
Doc and wash is one of the best duos in the show
0:16 ya this mit be a bad time to say I think I'm senaking into the sand I hate you I know
“Hello Caboose’s best friend I am agent Washing Tub”
the wash and doc combo truly is legendary
That was the worst throw ever always made me laugh right there lol 😂
“That was the worst throw, ever. Of all time.” “Not my fault. Someone put a wall in my way.”
"I didn't say that wouldn't work, I just said you're an idiot and you're wasting our time."
I love how over half of this is just him getting fed up with Doc's bs
HOWS MY BUMPER TASTE ASSHOLE
The good old days.
God I wish rt still had the spark they did back then for jokes and content.
i love how out of all the freelancers wash is the most underwhelming one but is still leagues better than any of the reds or blues combined
I mean he was still in the top 10. I believe he was listed at number 6.
"Worst shot ever"
"Hes getting fussy" "Tell me about it" Is a lot darker than it sounded the first time
Considering Wash was still sent on missions by Project Freelancer, that means he was the worst... of the best of the best.
I really like the EMP conversation, "now activating emp." "emp? You have got to be fking kidding me."
I wish meta had subtitles
Wasn’t the shotgun scene the first time they employed CGI? I swear it was. And it was EPIC
I forgot how much i loved “Shotgun” watching for the first time was one of the best things to witness
I love how throught the show in these moments they kept a hint that everything is connected by having a mouse in the top left corner at all times but just for these scenes
rvb is such a fun show to watch, but rvb zero is just so meh
I wonder what the last season is going to be like
