@@TheMash84 The DS8X is much easier to recommend than the Q1S. With a short cylinder shaped gear knob, the sequential mode on it is solid, just under the Moza Sequential (albeit drastically quieter). Without the planetary gears it isn’t as tactile as the Q1S, but it also doesn’t have the issue where you send the shift signal to the game without getting to the end of the travel. That tradeoff for just being able to flip a switch to go between H pattern and sequential is a solid one. More often these days I’ve started to just use it over swapping it out on my rig for the Q1S just for convenience (plus I have to have space on the rig to set up a HOTAS occasionally!) That said, if you already have the Moza H pattern and Sequential, I doubt it’s worth swapping to unless one of those ends up failing at some point. The DS8X isn’t cheap!

@@madgamer574 No, the FX does not support it unfortunately. The Neo supports it on the top two encoders only when used wirelessly, and on all 4 when used with Maglink through SimHub.

Yeah I was hoping switching to the softs would be enough after practice. I have seen a few people mention that currently in LMU a lot of the time just running minimum pressures is the way to go

I use the the LMU HY preset from Simagic in SimPro (except I bump FFB strength to 100) Then in LMU itself I use: Steering Torque Capability: 10 FFB Strength: 60 FFB Smoothing: 0 Minimum Steering Torque: 0 Collision strength: 60 Steering Torque Sensitivity:100 Use Constant Steering Force Effect: Off

@@kutayakyuz No problem! it’s the one Simagic preset I really liked out of the gate. Some Hypercars will still have really light FFB at very low speeds but feel great everywhere else

Yep, it's ACC. The engineer is from a free app called Crew Chief on PC.

It seems to exist albeit very small. Definitely not something you get to take advantage of often :/

It’s funny because holding your brakes usually results in less of a chance of you getting hit again after losing control. Should be common sense by now lol

Hypercars outnumbered GTE by almost 2 to 1, so the GTE field got spread fairly thin

@@scottb5420 ACC’s shadows aren’t the best, but I do have shadows and shadow distance turned down a bit in the graphics settings to gain a good amount of FPS, which doesn’t help haha

I have an Alpha Mini. I don’t feel the need for more power, but I also don’t race open wheel cars. If you have the funds and need a base now, the Alpha would be a good pick for a little extra overhead. They will be releasing a new 12Nm base next year, they showed it at the sim expo a few weeks ago

@@bfife22 very going just picking cars that I know will be easier for me, like IMSA, F4, SFL etc it's fun annoying with the X's but it's fun

@@Dark_77_ The crew chief voice is always the same, but the spotter voice can be changed. I can’t remember the name of mine, but you can stop and start the app after changing the voice to hear what it sounds like, and pick the one you like the best

Thanks! I've already used the Aston for a season, and switch cars each time to one I haven't used. Didn't have many choices left (M4, NSX, GTR). NSX felt quick but very nervous and was outgunned on the straights. The M4 did feel better at Kyalami than at Spa.

Depends on what kind of racing you plan to do. GT/Open wheel, the GT Neo is pretty much perfect for. If you are going to do any rally or roadcars as well, a 300mm round wheel is a good inbetween that won’t feel too big for GT/Formula cars

@@fitrifahri709 it’ll depend on if you are on PC or console, and what wheelbase you have. I only have recent experience with Simagic wheels but all except for the Neo only work on Simagic bases
